Dr. Rodger De Padua

District Supervisor

Dear Sir,
I am interested in applying for a teaching position, on the elementary level in your school
district. As a 2013 graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, I have ample student
teaching experience on the multi-grade level in Aeta Elementary school. That experience of
teaching in a multi-grade classroom during my internship helps me to develop my skills and
passion in teaching.
While studying in the above-mentioned university, my passion and love of music created some
opportunities for me to teach Childrens Choir in our Church and Drum and Lyre of some
schools of your district like the Bepz Elementary School, others are private schools.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate,
enthusiastic, effective and intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your
school district. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest
convenience.
Thank you and may God bless us always!

Sincerely yours,

Benjie M. Manila

Dear Mr. Ryans,
I am very interested in applying for a teaching position with Jonas Elementary School-as I have
heard nothing but the best about your school system and educators. As a 2007 graduate of the
University of California-San Diego, I have ample student teaching experience in 2nd through 5th
grades. To this end, I have worked in both city and suburban school systems, and thus can apply
my comprehensive experience with both environments to the role of teacher at your school.
At present, I teach at San Diego Middle School in San Diego, and work with students that are
minimal to high risk; due to the inner city location of San Diego. Along with the regular
responsibilities involved with teaching students at this level, I am also involved in a mentoring
program that helps these students find various scholastic interests to reach for and learn about. In
this capacity, I use my talents of leadership, mentorship, and nurturing capabilities to move them
forward-no matter what their possible setbacks.
As a teacher of middle school students, I am challenged every day to find the best way to
approach and motivate students to enjoy the process of learning, and the life that education can
bring these students. I thrive in this challenge, and am fulfilled every time I face a challenge and
meet its demands with aplomb.
This said, my goal is to bring my passion for teaching, great capabilities with middle school age
students, and experience in various scholastic environments to the open position of teacher at
San Diego Middle School. I am available at your disposal to offer more details on my
experience, as well as to speak further regarding the requirements and expectations of this
position. Please contact me at (999)999-9999 at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
