OSLIM optical silt measuring instrument

The OSLIM system is an instrument to measure concentrations of
particles in suspension.
principle
The method is based on the attenuation of the intensity of a light
beam, due to the light absorption and scattering of silt particles
suspended in a liquid. The output is presented as an analog
voltage.

FOSLIM immersible probe
for OSLIM optical silt measuring instrument
The FOSLIM is an immersible probe additional to the OSLIM
system to monitor concentration of silt in suspension.
principle
The method is based on the attenuation of the intensity of a light
beam, due to the light absorption and reflection of silt particles
suspended in a liquid. Using fiber optic techniques the probe can
measure at adjustable path-length at any point in the fluid.
