theLordsfestivalcelebrationswereagloriousforeshadowofJesus,ourMessiah.
InstudyingourHebrewroots,wemusthoweverguardagainstbeingpulledintoritualistic
anddogmaticobservancesoftraditionsandholidays.We,asChristians,havebeengrafted
intotheFAITHofAbrahamandnottheLaw.AsbelieversinChrist,wehaveall,Jewsand
Gentiles, gained direct access to God. No ritual, tradition or anything we do in our own
strength can earn us eternal life, but only our acceptance of the free gift of salvation
throughJesusChrist.
Whetherpracticedoccasionally,orregularly,theseblessingsshouldnotbeadministeredin
a legalistic fashion, but rather studied for the purpose of deeper understanding of the
Hebrewculture,andtolearnmoreaboutGodandwhoHeis.
