Indication
CAUTION
VS-5000N,5500N
Caution in installation
1. Do not install in high temperature & humidity. Install on well ventilated place.
2. Install apart from wall by 30Cm. Please set on place which is plain & no vibration.
3. Do not install on flammable or explosive place.
4. Please clarify proper electronic source before using. (Voltage, Power)
5. Please use in place where the voltage variable rate is within 10 %.
6. Please use the ground outlet.
Caution in operation
1. Please keep the circumstantial conditions as temperature from 2 to 40, and
humidity lower than 80%. Unit may not operate correctly.
2. Do not put the plug with wet to prevent the electric shock.
3. Please keep the circumstantial temperature not to changed rapidly.
Humidity may caused on unit inside. And it can cause trouble on unit.
(If dew is foamed on chamber, clean with soft dry fabric.)
4. Please put the contents into ROTOR symmetrically with same weight of contents.
If not, unit is operated in UNBALANCE and causes the trouble.
5. If you use under room temperature, please operate the refrigerated before 30 minutes
from input contents.
If you put the contents into CHAMBER before getting the aimed temperature, contents
can be degenerated.
6. Once refrigerator is operated, do not touch the chamber in wet. Hand can be frozen or
stuck on chamber by cold.
7. Door is closed during rotation. Do not open by forced for safety.
After end of operation, DOOR can be opened but chamber is still rotating for a while.
Therefore, please put out the contents after rotor is fully stopped.
8. When move the unit or do not use for a long time, please separate the rotor from unit.
If do not used for a long time, rotor may cannot be separated form shaft.
Additional cautions.
1. Use mild detergent for cleaning.
2. Please use proper tubes.
- Plastic tubes of Nalgene, Falcon, Corning, Nunc, Sastedit.
- It it is possible, don't use glass tubes. In case of using glass tubes, take Corex
tubes or Firex tubes and don't set speed higher than 2,500RPM.
3. In case of smoke, strange smell or Error occurs, cut off main power switch and inform
to contact our service center.
4. Do not alternate or repair by an unauthorized person.

Installation
1. Install on place where is plane & no vibration. And apart from the wall by 30Cm.
2. Check the outside and all contents.
3. Connect the AC Power Cord and
on rear part and connect to the grounded outlet.
And then turn on the main power switch on rear part.
Please use proper voltage to prevent fire, electrical accident or damage on unit.
4. Turn right the Rotor lid to separate from rotor.

5. Put the separated rotor to shaft on chamber.
6. Fix the Rotor lid on rotor and fasten by turning left.
If the lid is loose, it can be opened during operation. Therefore, check the lid
one more time before operation.
When you use swing rotor, please fasten strongly by 20mm spanner. (Not to fasten
it only by your hands.)

Meaning of word
1. RPM : Rotation per minute.
2. RCF : Relative Centrifugal Force
3.
: Total centrifugal effect. Speed which is integrated by time.
Feature
1. VS-5000N(5500N) is Table-top centrifuge with Brushless D.C. Motor.
2. CHAMBER is made of Stainless steel, and body is powder coated steel plate(CR 41).
3. 9 profile for acceleration and deceleration for motor speed.
4. Microprocessor support 3 mode display (RPM, RCF,
) and 200 of memory is available.
5. Self-diagnostic detect any error and indicate on display.

1. Turn on the unit with POWER
switch.
2. After self-diagnostic, if there is no problem on unit, the following message is appeared.

If you meet any error message, please turn off the centrifuge and contact service
engineer.
3. And then, display shows initial status of centrifuge as follows.

5. Set the buckets with test tubes onto the swing rotor.
TUBEs in same weight shall be located symmetrically.
If not, unbalance of each buckets cause malfunction of centrifuge.

VS-5000N,5500N is warranted by VISION SCIENTIFIC CO., LTD for a period of one year
after the date of purchase.
The warranty applies only to defects due to the fault of product workmanship or materials,
and is not valid for the defects resulting from accidental damage, misuse or neglect and in
case of alternations or repair carried out by an unauthorized person.
Service under the warranty is provided only upon the presentation of a declaration form.
