Product Overview
The DCX3510-M includes the latest audio and
video output, with support for full 1080p60
high-denition output, HDMI, award-winning
Dolby

Digital Plus, and Dolby Volume intelligent


multi-channel audio leveling. In addition, the
DCX3510-M features an internal 500 GB hard
drive, which can be expanded to 1 TB or more
using an external disk drive connected to the
set-tops eSATA interface. The DCX3510-M is
OpenCable Application Platform (OCAP)-capable,
and compatible with Motorolas DCT legacy
software API set. The DCX3510-M also supports
Motorolas new software enhancements for
processing 3D video and graphics in the set-
top prior to being delivered to a 3D-compatible
television for an exceptional high-quality 3D TV
viewing experience.

The DCX3510-M set-top offers an integrated
MoCA

home networking interface, which


allows it to serve as a multimedia hub for
sharing content with other compatible devices
in the home, creating an IP home network. This
feature provides consumers ultimate control
and exibility over their media choices, viewing
interest, and entertainment lifestyles while
providing access to their digital content in any
room of their home, any time they want it.
Bandwidth Efciency Solutions
With support for MPEG-4 video, the DCX3510-M
allows operators to use limited bandwidth to
provide high-denition programming and high-
bandwidth advanced applications.

DCX3510-M supports Switched Digital Video
(SDV) solutions, which maximize bandwidth by

Environmentally Conscious
In addition to providing industry-leading
features and performance, the Motorola
DCX3510-M was designed with the
environment in mind. The DCX3510-M is 33
percent lighter than previous models, requiring
less material in development, and the product
bezel is built with 20 percent post-consumer
recycled plastic, a signicant environmental
innovation. The packaging uses 75 percent
recycled-content cardboard and is 100 percent
recyclable, and is marked with standard
recycling codes to help customers identify
recycling opportunities.
Remote Diagnostic Capabilities
The DCX3510-M works with Motorolas
SmartStream Terminal Data Collector (STDC)
to report set-top status for evaluation and
corrective action, enabling operators to isolate
and troubleshoot plant issues, improve service
quality, and reduce operational costs.
