Science Form 4 PELANGI
The Science Practical Assessment (SPM PEKA) is a school-based assessment that is implemented at level as part
of the teaching and learning process. This PEKA Guide contains information on the objectives and the framework of PEKA. It
works as a guideline for teachers to assess pupils practical work in a coordinated manner.
Objectives of Peka
The objectives in conducting PEKA is to enable the students to:
Master scientifc skills
Strengthen knowledge and understanding on the theories and concepts in Science
Inculcate scientifc attitudes and noble values

Construct I
(Planning the
experiment)
Laboratory report Able to exhibit the complete planning of
the following accurately:
1. Aim of the experiment
2. Hypothesis
3. Variables involved
4. Materials and apparatus
5. Procedure or technique
