INDEXES CALCULATION : unit index
•
For each characteristic, the measure is compared to
limits and to evaluated levels of service: A for a good level
to E for a bad level

INDEXES CALCULATION : specific index
•
Unitary indicators are crossed to obtain a specific index
When there is E level (red), works maintenance are
planned
The aim is not to have 100 % of A level

SCHEDULING OF WORKS
Maintenance works schedule
Indexes of level service are only used for
maintenance works plans
Allow to « priorize » works sections but this is not
sufficient
detailed analysis of all monitoring results is
needed

SCHEDULING OF WORKS
We use the indexes to follow the evolution of
level of service with time
When there is E level (red), works
maintenance are planned
The aim is not to have 100 % of A level

SCHEDULING OF WORKS
The condition survey results are used to
calculate a global mark representative of the
pavement level of service
The evolution of the mark is compared to the
maintenance budget
