Her art, her music, erm her passion to please her fans erm Im looking at all the
posters around the place. Hm okay Ill talk to Gaga Hey Bitch how you doing
erm yeah she puts on really good shows, she [Jake giggles] Erm I would say her
music, she was I think she was the new wave of like different types of music, like
her first album is not so to speak like if you see her now from then, its
completely different.

Since she started which was around 2008/9 its quite a while yeah. She was a
different kind of music really like she seemed like typical pop but when you
actually listen to her music its different to like Britney spears and Madonna. And
all that. So shes much more of a new wave? Yeah, a new wave of music.

So yeah say that again. She was definitely a new wave of music, seeing as she
bought her self into a world of critics and she didnt really care and especially
with her costumes what she does and how she does it, she doesnt really give a
shit. Sorry can I swear in this? Yeah[laughs]

Your natural day, how does Gaga influence you? What you wear, what you say,
how you hold yourself, what you do? I definitely think she influences me in the
way with what she wears, like im not gonna go round and wear meat, but she
wears like a lot of like black and she makes it look kind of sophisticated , errm,
but at the same time dark and grim. Not so much anymore, but I think im looking
back to a different time to when she did and, you know [laughs] woaahh, you
alright? Yeah im fine just tryna think what to say [laughs]

thats what im like, and I think ive taken that from her, I mean, one day I will be
wearing completely black and dark, and the next day I will be in colours, I think I
feel like a different person when im wearing different clothes and I think with all
of her costumes there made by her like the halls of Gaga so err I think with me I
dont really buy clothes in like brands or anything, I like to take clothes from
charity shops, well not take them [laughs], buy them but give to charity. Errm,
and make it my own in a way? [laughs hysterically] stealing from charity shops?

How many times have you seen gaga? Errm about 5 times. Ive seen Gaga about 5
times. Cool, whats the most extreme fan moment youve had? How far have you
gone just to see her? Well actually, there was this one time, it was ther 17
th

December, I really, like I needed to go, otherwise I might aswell have just died,
but errm, I brought a ticket, and I was like to my friends oh yeah yeha you
gonna come along and all that? And they were like we dont have any money so I
was like fuck you im gonna go! So I went by myself, and err, I ended up, like I was
standing and everything, and like if im not at the front im not gonna enjoy it, so I
was like right ive got to get there early. So, I wen t to the o2 at like 7 oclock in the
morning, waited there for like 12 hours?

By myself, with my ipod, just like yeah, cool, whatever and there was like loads
of people around me like, it was ridiculous how many people who go to her gigs,
they sell out like that. Like, even now when I bought the art pop ball ticket, I was
this close to not getting one, like literally so close to not getting one, I got one and
I was like YES, brilliant! But errm, yeah, shit, err, yeah I was in the queue for like
12 hours, and err finally got in, and I was like right, you kmnow they got the
security where your not allowed bottles and all that shit?

So literally, loads of people were getting through them without fail and I got so
fucking scared, like searching me, like through my bag, I was like serious?, anmd
all the these people were like running past and I was like shit!, im not going to
get to the front! So, they finished, im gonna dash, so literally ran to the front,
therrte was like, a person at the bars, like the barriers, to her stage, a person
infront of me, and then there was me, I was just like right, I really have to like
squeeze my way in between these people because its gonna piss me off, I need to
be at the front. So errm, I was, it was err it came to the support act, and it was
like halfway through the last song, and the guy in front of me passed out, I was
just like yes! [laughs] it was hilarious I must of looked like a fuciking demon,
looking over him like mmmhf [sniggers], I didnt like help him up or anything I
was just like meh [laughs] so security took him out, and I was like thanks
bitches, I was right at the front, right at the bars, like yes [clicks] right before she
was gonna come on it was brilliant. Yeah she came on, I was so hyped, like, I felt
like I was on drugs, when you are at her shows it feels like your on drugs, her
sets, the visual, stuff, all of it, it feels like your on a trip somewhere to
wonderland its crazy!

But errm, yeah, one point, she errm, she comes up with this giant stick, like this
discus (its on the poster over there), that thing, and errm, it has a giant light at
the end of it and she shines it all over the audience, and she pretty much had it
right in my face and I was blinded to shit I was like oh my god I cant see! but
errm I kind of had my hands up like that and I was wearing these rings, errm,
one of them was of like teeth, one of them was a cross, and the other one was
something else I cant remember, like a chanel symbol or something, but errm,
she was like ooo I like your rings, but I couldnt see her? And I was like I knowm
its me so I started crying and I was like yes! Yes! [laughs] crazy, but yeah it was
really good, and, then at the end I was like are you serious, that was insane! I had
seen her before, that gig, but that particular one, was just the best one to me
because obviously she spoke to me but it was really good.

how has gaga inspired you?
Inspired me well I think mainly her attitude towards life and just everyone
around her I think she is a very good role model to a lot of people especially the
lgbt community. And she is an activist I think with her confidence and how she
puts herself out there its very inspiring. And inspires me to just kind of go along
with her like she is like shes a leader. Mother Monster!

I think she deserves that roles because she.. a lot of people slate her. Cos what
she has a dick?! Or her musics shit?! Or shes wearing something stupid?! But its
not about that at all its about who she is as a person. And what she does and how
she puts it out there and sorry Im burping again. But HAHA.
So how directly has she effected you? Especially the LGBT community being an
activist you know she wants equal rights and stuff, how has that directly
effected you as a person and your self esteem?

I think I deffo, it rubs off on me a lot. Looking at me before I even knew about
lady gaga I think I was very eek! Small, I didnt really like know anyone, I didnt
have. Well I did know people, it was around like school time but it wasnt like, I
think erm it was er ryryryryyrr erm lost for words. Ive completely lost what Im
saying, bare with me a second, erm

Er yeah, I think after her like her she obviously she was quite small when she
started she got massive like over night I think like her attitude was on point. Like
she, shes getting far shes getting very far. And I think like when I see someone I
idolize in a certain way I will try my best to be like them in a way I donno I just
her attitude rubs off on me like back then from now I deffo I have a dont give a
shit attitude like im so chill it hurts. Erm yeah. And what she does for other
people like shes very caring towards her fans I mean ive been watching videos
on youtube, especially like other people like if theyre standing outside like a
studio or somewhere like waiting for her to come out of her hotel or something
shell come out and shell greet them all and shell even give out muffins which I
think I is adorable.

So what you take from gaga is her attitude towards other people and just her
kind of laid back and kindness first rather than confrontation.
She takes critiscism and she takes it well she just lets it slide she just doesnt
give a shit.

Do you apply that to yourself?
Yeah I think so I deffo think so

So shes helped you in a sense of.. with your self confidence given you a boost,
she inspires you to get up when youre down
Yeah deffo I just listen to her music or her voice I mean its crazy, it is crazy.

What do you feel when you listen to her music?
I feel impowered, I donno thats not the word, I donno I like. When I walk down
the street and im listening to one of her songs im just like yeah [clicks] lets go.
Thats why I walk so fast, like yeah im in the beat its the hype of her music its
crazy its great. Especially her bad romance song. I think thats one of my
favourite songs of all time that songs insane I just love it so much.

Speechless is a song do particuarlly like it does mean quite a little bit to me its
quite personal erm I dont really want to get into it. Its from her second album
fame monster. Its like an add on to the fame. Erm yeah I the lyrics in it are
really touching and theres I think it relates a lot to me and how I am to my
friends aswell and how I see them. Erm there the particular lyrics that I do like
is so baby raise a glass to mend all the broken hearts of all my fucked up friends
but its wrecked in the song but in the concert she says fucked but yeah I think it
deffo relates to the my friends as, I think I dont wanna like, jab at anyone I
dont want to do anything like that but erm I think when I see my friends and like
oh I fucking burped.

Erm yeah. Hmmmmm when I see my friends I think theyve been in a lot of
relationships and im not gonna lie its ridiculous that they all seem very bad I
donno I think I study my friends too much I think thats what I do I study them
and I think it makes me learn a little bit more thats what I do im a wallflower
I sit and watch. I dont do. Cos Im not in a lot of I dont get into relationships
thats what I am. Like lady gaga she doesnt really have a boyfriend.. she has one
right now! Which I do not approve of but er I think that that line deffo explains
it raise a glass to mend all the brokens hearts of all my fucked up friends cos
when they break up im the one who has to pick up the pieces.

So I got er tattoos in similar places to where she has hers I dont know if you
can see the poster over there but she has a peace sign on her wrist and she has
some writing in here I think its from a german author deffo german. So erm I
decided that I liked them in the places where she had hers so I thought oyu know
im gonna get something that inspires me so I got the chanel symbol cos I did a bit
of fashion and coco chanel is one of my inspirations and I got writing in my arm
it says I am fucking crazy but Im free its from a different person [whispers] who
shall not be named. Right okay its a quote from lana del rays ride video er I
did because it is me I am fucking crazy, and free [winks]

Tattoo Im getting er I want it to be done maybe on this side aactually I dont
know I want it down my ribs on this side, ive always wanted like I was planning
on getting one a while back I was gonna get something here instead of that but I
choose different I chose a while back but Ive always like come up with different
lyrics but I thought that sounds good im going to put that on my body. But I think
now ive. Its set in stone now I think yeah. Ive decided what I want its set in
stone. Its gonna be down my ribs and its gonna fucking hurt! And im excited
about it!

so erm I think her wardrobe choice is very inspirational to me as a person cos
the way she does it and puts it out there is really cool like some outfits you do I
think other people see it as weird and fucked up especially like the meat outfit
that she wore for the mtv awards but I think its art its something she is trying to
portray and something shes putting out there like the meat outfit got slated so
much but like I see a different side to how she wanted people to see it I think cos
obviously she doesn t want to be seen as a piece of meat . shes a person going
back to all the critics and what not like her song applause how she feels like she
always gets bood onstage I think her costumes do bring out a lot in her they are
a part of her like the same as me. I think.

The different clothes I wear I act different like if im wearing black all day ill be
dark and grime and horrible like im on a hangover or something but if im
wearing bright colours ill be happyish haha. Erm I think if I I think the way she,
she has her little minions in the halls of gaga to make all these creations and I
think I do that myself to my clothes but erm I think I deffo see myself as a
different each outfit I wear I dont wear a lot of outfits but er I you can deffo tell
something about me like I can wear trackies and look like a skank but give a
shit though.

so I did an art project a while back on fashion based around fashion so idecided
why not do it about gaga I made this dress inspired by her this is after I went to
the monsterball tour the first time and it was er inspired a latex er very stickey
dress it sticks to your skins like crazy she wears nothing underneath it with
nipple tape, its insane. This is it it looks like shit from here but I think cos I did
it I put it on a model and photographed it and it looked quite good actually. And
now I think its a bit shit but yeah it was inspired by this dress here. As you can
see its very shiny and very plasticky and its very uncomfortable and thats what
I was going for yeah.

But I think with most of her outfits you thats why I noticed when youre actually
see it up close they dont seem real. They seem quite erm I dont want to say it
but there is an outfit over there on the calander it looked like tin foil. They look
easy to make so I thought you know what im going to take my art project and
make different outfits that inspired me from the monster balls tour.

t shirts! [laughs] so this is one which I made myself, it says government hooker
its one of her songs from the born this way album, I like it because, I just like the
phrase gobernment hooker, I just think its really bold, quite out there, not calling
youself a government hooker but you know what I dont give a shit.
This ones from h&m line, which they did of gaga, they did quite a few tshirts, I
like it it says haus of gaga, which is all of her creations she made, errm, it has a
print of the fame monster, its a tank top, its good in the summer, its comfortable,
you can move around, errm, this one here is one of my favourite ones, it was my
first one, it says im a free bitch.

And it was from her tour monster ball tour at the o2, and I really likked it
because it said bitch on it, and im a free bitch, err, it also had the same print as
the h&m one, and it I liked that photo shoot its really good. This one is I think
more promotional to her born this way album, which she is wearing a jacket on
the back is says born this way and it has a unicorn on it, she idolizes the born this
way album thats where she has the tattoo on her leg of the unicorn, and yeah I
think this is more promotional, I do like it but I never wore it because theres too
much pink on it, and im not a big fan of pink.

This one I brought in London in Camden, its quite short I bought it because of the
print, it has her in the telephone video where she is wearing crime scene tape all
over it and all over her nonny, err [laughs], that video was incredible I mean
beoynce was in it aswell, all hail queen B, errm
This one, I dont like it but I brought it because its her, its more of an artistic kind
of artsy, but I think its more drawn, think its quite cool
This one is also one of my favourites, its got her from the telephone video aswell,
shes wearing the telephone hat which is really cool because this guy that when I
went to the concert literally made it out of paper, and was wearing it, it was
insane, like origarmy, errm, yeah
Oh this one, I got it printed for me, err I took the picture then sent it to a website
who printed on the t shirt for me, I really like it because this was a vanity fair
shoot, and she looks really pretty, and she really looks like my friend.

So this here is from a fashion part of my art, it was initially a wallpaper first it did
go down longer but we had to cut it up and make It into a dress, errm, on it its
inspired by the monster ball, it says welcome to the monster ball, monster ball
will set you free, and the best part about the monster ball is that I created it so
that my fans would have a place to go, a place where all the freaks are locked
outside and I lock the fucking doors. Yeah that was an interesting project to do. I
regret cutting it up but it is what it is.

I studied art for a year, and this particular piece in front of my is from textile
fashion, but I did originally as a wallpaper, but we had to cut it up into a costume.
Its inspired by the monster ball and it says welcome. I thought it was a very
interesting point when she said it because I think the way she calls the general
outside freaks instead of the people that are actually in the concert is quite
interesting because I think how the whole world see her as a freak, shes saying
that theyre the freaks and that shes locking the door so that they cant come to
her concerts.

This is photofraphy work I did this as a test for something I cant rmembner what,
they are from magazine cut outs, and I think its quite interesting especially with
these lot here, the bigger ones show the other side of the page like the image is
flipped.

I did some illustration based drawings, I think I had an idea of what I wanted to
do with them, theyre unfinished, im in the process of finishing them, I think it
comes back to like her changing styles constantly so I thought I would do some
illustrations and put them on my wall next to eachother so it shows her different
ways, personalities, for instance the one with the pink hair and the chanel top
and the hat, its more bright and she looks more sophisticated and elegant, and
then the one with the brown she looks a bit more free and general, country-like
[laughs]

I havent had the time to finish them but erm they were gonna show her in
different ways goes back to the costumes like each costume or outfit or what
not erm I wanted to line them up on my wall at some point but I only had two at
the moment but theyre unfinished at the moment. And for once Ive used colour
which I rarely do because I hate colour art. But erm I chose to do colour because
it makes it stand out more nad I think these illustrations need it especially.

Its more fine. (stutters) erm yeah they need colour. So erm I chose two particular
ones to start with I chose the one with pink hair and chanel top she looks
sophisticated looks like on red carpet- party scene. Brown hair is more casual its
more beyond the face brown hair is more natural than bright blonde or pink not
being prejudice or anything [laughs] I think yeah I do prefer the brown hair cos I
think it looks quite pretty I also took them from real life photographs of her but I
think they I made them look more cartoony in a way? But it still looks like her
in a way same features like her nose and chin and her face shape is quite original.

erm I did I think this one is from my obne of my exams I did it from a picture
a promotional picture from monster ball I think I did it because it was before I
went to monster ball so I decided you know what imam do a pic inspired. That
was my feelings towards it it took me quite a while its all done in colouring
pencils erm I think the way er I like how the pic is actually its not so dark in the
background in actual photograph there are people surrounding her er but I made
it all dark I wanted it to looked eary

I guess its more fear of the unknown espectially with the girl with the mask on
her face with blood coming down her eyes and shes the orbit around her is
protecting her, as soon as they get close to her they turn to colour but when
outside this orbit theyre all black and white. And erm.
