Coconut Oil Butter

Materials 3 cups Coconut Oil in solid state 4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil 8 tablespoons Honey 4 tablespoons of orange peel zest Mixer Sterilized empty container Instructions 1. Add all ingredients into a clean bowl and mix until you have a smooth consistency. 2. Transfer into a container and cover.

Facial 20% Lactic Acid Peel


Formula [(Concentration of LA) x (mL of LA) ] / (desired concentration) = mL of water needed [(.90) x (5mL)] / .20 = 22.5mL of water added to 5mL of LA 2.7mL LA / 13.5mL water = .20 = 20% concentration

Materials Needed 2.7mL Lactic Acid 13.5mL Distilled Water 12cc syringe 50oz measuring beaker glass measuring cup large bowl Gauze Spray bottle Baking soda Timer Mild skin cleanser Instructions 1. Using mild cleanser, wash face/neck/armpits/privates. Gently remove excess dead skin.

2. Using syringe, draw 13.5mL of distilled water into 50mL beaker. 3. Using syringe, add 2.7mL of Lactic Acid to breaker to create 20% solution. Set Aside. 4. Add 1 cup distilled water into glass measuring cup. Add tablespoon baking soda. Stir. Do not shake. Pour into spray bottle. Let bottle sit inside an ice bath until time to use. 5. Using mild cleanser, wash face, neck, armpits, and privates. 6. Using gauze, apply peel solution to face, neck, armpits, and privates. Let sit for 3 minutes. 7. After 3 minutes on the timer, spray baking soda solution onto areas to neutralize acid. 8. Wash face.

Body 30% Lactic Acid Peel


Formula: [(Concentration of LA) x (mL of LA) ] / (desired concentration) = mL of water needed [(.90) x (20mL)] / .30 = 60mL of water added to 20mL of LA 18mL LA / 60mL water = .30 = 30% concentration

Materials Needed 18mL Lactic Acid 60mL Distilled Water 12cc syringe 100oz measuring beaker glass measuring cup bowl large container sponge Gauze Spray bottle Baking soda Timer Mild skin cleanser Instructions 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Using mild cleanser, wash body. Gently remove excess dead skin. Using syringe, draw 60mL of distilled water into 100mL beaker. Using syringe, add 18mL of Lactic Acid to container to create 30% solution. Set Aside. Add 3 cup distilled water into glass measuring cup. Add 6 tablespoons baking soda. Stir. Do not shake. Pour into spray bottle. Let bottle sit inside an ice bath until time to use. Using gauze, apply peel solution to body. Let sit for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes on the timer, apply baking soda solution onto areas to neutralize acid. Shower. Apply Coconut Oil Butter to all areas to soothe.
