FADE IN: EXT. STREET - BUS STOP - MORNING Among dozens of people grouped at the bus stop, ZARO (in his 20s)is seating on the bench - daydreaming. The camera SLOWLY TRUCKS toward him through the crowd. Next to him an old man is reading a newspaper, farther on a woman is trying to calm down her child by serving her candy.Next to them there is a pierced rocker girl with headphones and a leather jacket on. Reaching Zaro the camera moves into his head. DISSOLVE TO: EXT. FOREST - MORNING - CONTINUOUS ANIMATED: Were moving through a thick forest. Coming out of it we appear in the outskirts of a vastly spread BRAIN CITY, in the middle of which a high pyramid, is rising into the sky. EXT. BRAIN CITY - MORNING Narrow alleys between closely located houses and buildings are flooded with traffic and movement. Human like neurons- nerve cells- are moving in different directions. Noises of everyday life are heard. A train horns from afar. A cloud of smoke is rising above the city in the distance. ON A SKYSCRAPER On a balcony on the 30th floor of the skyscraper SANDRA (10) is playing violin. On the edge of the balcony a metal cage is standing in which LITTLE ILKA, a beautiful gray mouse is lying with her curious and romantic eyes pointed up at Sandra. Suddenly an eagle flies by and CLENCHING the cage in its beak, FLIES high into the sky, leaving screaming Sandra behind. TILTING DOWN from Sandra we SWOOP all the way DOWN to the ground - on a house - to meet a male child neuron, juggling with eggs in front of the drying laundry hanging on a rope. He juggles, juggles and suddenly a hand with a frying pan sticks out from between the clothes and smash hits his head, knocking him out. The eggs fly in the air and hitting each other BREAK. The frying pan quickly grabs the falling eggs.

The gas stove fires its blue tongues out. The frying pan arrives on it.The hand spins the pan like a DJ scratch board. The eggs fry in a second. We TRUCK farther A baby, lying alone on a wooden chair, with his face sticking out from the sheets that are wrapped around him, is sucking on a straw that serves him a dark juice from a Soda can standing down on the floor. In the b.g. his mother, leaning on the window is flirting with a curly gentleman standing outside in a suit and tie outfit. On the windowsill, next to the womans arms, is lying a bouquet of flowers. WOMAN (to the man) Thank you for the nice flowers. The babys cry is heard from behind. She intentionally doesnt react. MAN Ohh, whos that? WOMAN Well,..uhh...thats my kid. The man sticks his head into the window and compensates his surprise by waving to the kid. The kid is sucking on the straw, but the can is already empty. The kid lets the straw go and starts to cry which is interrupted by a sudden burp. MAN Oh, how cute is that little baby, you didnt tell me that you have such a nice baby. The lady cheers up from his reaction and turns to the baby and makes childish faces at it. WOMAN Yeah, thats my sweet boy! The man uses the moment to disappear. A second later alone his hand returns to snitch the flowers. The mother turns back to find this out as we TRUCK farther

INT. HOUSE # 2 - CONTINUOUS Many armchairs are located next to each other. A man is reading a newspaper. Next to him another man is typing on a computer, in the b.g. a woman is combing her hair in front of the mirror. We keep TRUCKING INT. CASINO - CONTINUOUS A small group of neurons are playing cards. They are screaming while the cards are being distributed. They go silent as they take their cards in their hands. They observe and one after another throw their cards on the table. And as the last player throws his cards the group burst out screaming. We TRUCK along. INT. BIG HALL - CONTINUOUS A group of males, seated in a cozy sofa are watching a fat female neuron do belly dance with a tightly wrapped scarf around her waist, which breaks while dancing, demonstrating her full legs. The watchers burst out laughing. She covers herself with her hands in shame. We TRUCK ahead. Next to them a group of neurons is most fanatically watching a football game with beer bottles and chips in their hands. CLOSE ON the TV: the player in the game makes a mistake and the team looses a point -the fans get noisy and angry. One throws his empty beer bottle at the TV screen, which hits the screen and flies back like a boomerang into his teeth, emptying all 32 teeth into his stomach and knocks him off the couch. He falls back and hits one of the passing by bicycle riders. This rider falls on another rider and the next rider on another, making a domino effect.The final faller ends up hitting with his helmet the tube that rises from the ground up high into the air. Gas steams out from the crashing spot. We TRUCK forward Farther an old neuron is holding the end of his own long white beard with one hand and is sliding the knife back and fort on the beards surface, playing violin music. Some aged neurons, dressed in thick wool woven sweaters, are shaking back and fort in rocking chairs with their eyes closed. One of them, a sleeping gray-haired grandmother is still holding the knitting needles in her motionless hands. Meanwhile she snores terribly.

The violin players beard tears off as the knife finally cuts through it. That stops the music with the sound of a violin string break. The gray-haired grandma lets out a sudden cough, which makes her clew fall on the floor. The clew rolls along the floor, passes through an open door and into the street. EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS The clew rolls across the street, passing under streaming cars and between walking legs until it gets knocked by a fast pizza delivery moped. The clew flies forward through the bushes and landing on another street it rolls down straight to the PYRAMID. Reaching the pyramid it enters through the small dog entrance in the door... INT. PYRAMID - 1ST FLOOR - CONTINUOUS ....and rolls along a shiny floor until a quick and confident childs foot stops it. The child picks it up and looks around with his insidious eyes, searching for a target. INT. PYRAMID - 2ND FLOOR - MEANWHILE It is a large office. Many bookshelves cover the walls. Medical encyclopedias,books by famous authors occupy the shelves. Next to books by Balzac, Dostoevsky, Gote, Nichshe, stands a book entitled "The Id and the Ego" by Sigmund Freud.The book is transparent, while the neighboring books arent. In the corner of the office there is a bronze sculpture of young Zaro cutting the marathon ribbon with his chest with a happy expression on his face. On the wall there is an animated painting of Zaro, where he is holding a diploma in his hand as the audience applauds. He bows. Next to the painting, a stout man, EGO (Zaro in his 40s) dressed in a tie and shirt is knocking at the tube that is rising through the floor and along the wall. EGO (to himself) Whats going on with the connection.

He shrugs his shoulders, turns back and walks up to his desk Piles of folders and a large computer LCD monitor are resting on it. In the corner of the desk a name sign says "EGO". Ego picks up the phone. Dials up a number. A beat EGO (CONT) Hey Super, I have a bad feeling, something not pretty is about to happen. I cant reach that fool. The signal is blocked. Do me a favor, knock him out for me, will ya. My left arm still hurts from yesterday...and how are you doing there anyway? INT. PYRAMID - 3RD FLOOR - SUPEREGOS OFFICE MEANWHILE Its a labyrinth, the walls of which are piles of books reaching up to the ceiling. As we are slowly moving through the labyrinth, from behind rows of books an old man is seen seating next to a lamp. He has a long beard and is speaking into a cell phone. A large golden ring on his middle finger says SUPEREGO on it. SUPEREGO Hi there now. Two things I must tell you my son. I have been disappointed about your behavior lately. Most specifically, the yesterdays occasion... will you listen to what I....Im talking to you little bastaaaaaaaaaaaard His raised angry voice echoes as we WHOOSH LOWER through the many pyramid floors DOWN to the basement. INT. ZAROS HEAD - PYRAMID - BASEMENT The basement is lit dimply. Two naked female African statues rise along the wall. Starting from their footsteps bottles of beer, cans of soda, chips, and food remains, magazines, clothes and shoes, plates on top of the clothes, weights, computer game CDs, headphones, and all kinds of garbage lying on the floor lead us to a large leather chair. In it is seating ID, watching a huge TV screen, while speaking into the walkie-talkie.

ID No my super man. Time is up. Go to sleep. Its show time now. Ohhh, no dont raise your voice, please, children are sleeping downstairs. Oh, sorry downstairs is Ego, right? Your most close amigo. How much does he get for spying on me? What.. I cant believe that..well I hope youll have a shame strike for lying. Oh, well..thats an old story..right? ha ha, well.. sorry, got to go now, bye byeeeee !!! Id throws away the walkie talkie and grabs the remote control from between the breasts of a doll statue made out of rubber and points it at the screen. We SWOOP ON the TV screen, where that little child with the clew in his hand is still leering around. DISSOLVE INT. PYRAMID - 1ST FLOOR - CLASSROOM The childs eyes sparkle. He raises his hand in the air, just like a baseball pitcher aiming at the student that is writing on the blackboard in front of the class. The clew FLIES and hits the vase instead that falls on the teachers head seating under it. The wet teacher, with flowers hanging from his ears, jumps to his feet and furiously stares into the class. The bell goes off. Students get up in a rush and grabbing their books and whatever they have RUSH away. The teachers angry face melts into "well, whatever" expression that screams in that chaos. TEACHER Were going to read stories by Grimm Brothers next class. Bring your books with you. His last words echo in the completely emptied classroom. He lets out a sigh. TO:

EXT. PYRAMID - 1ST FLOOR - SCHOOL The school doors fly open and the children run out into the street. A fat yellow bus looms at the end of the street. The children are running. While going down the stairs one kid is biting on his enormous hamburger on the way. Another kid is trying to hold the heavy pile of the books, while caught in the student jam, but looses his balance and drops the books. He bends to collect them. An army of feet pass over the books, flooding him out of sight. They all run toward the bus stop, where at that moment the bus screeches to a halt. The bus doors pop open. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: EXT. STREET - BUS STOP As the bus doors slide open people sitting on the bench, next to Zaro, stand up, and get on the bus. Zaro remains daydreaming. The doors close and the bus starts moving. Only now he realizes it. He jumps to his feat and runs after the bus, knocking at it, meanwhile trying to catch on. The bus stops. The doors open. He gets on it quite embarrassed and finding a seat, suits himself, looking out of the window. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - SECOND FLOOR - CONFERENCE ROOM ANIMATED: Around a table are seated Ego, Superego on one side and four generals in army uniforms on the opposite side. Two soldiers are standing straight by the door. Four large LCD screens form a TV box hanging above the table. SUPEREGO Gentlemen, Id has become uncontrollable. He costs as money. I suggest that we address this issue most seriously. With the current trends of the progression of the events, we are facing a budget deficit. It is of critical (MORE) (CONTINUED)

The lights go off for a second. Then comes back again. The TV monitors that have been dark so far turn on suddenly. On the SCREEN in ZAROs POV: a beautiful red head, JULIA is seating on the other side of the bus. She has large breasts flooding out from her tight white blouse. The surprised faces of Ego, Super, pointed at the screens go -"Ohh no". Egos face partly says "Wow." END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: INT. BUS Zaro is curiously observing Julia. She throws a flirty look back. It warms him up. He looks back more motivated now. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - CONFERENCE ROOM ANIMATED: Superego is trying to continue his speech. He holds up a glass container up in the air, demonstrating it to everyone. Egos one eye is still raised up at the screen, the other pretends to be following the conversation. SUPEREGO This, my friends, is the key. It is the solution to our problem. No drug, no alcohol, nothing creates the effect that this power juice can. It makes a long lasting effect. Let me show you how (to the soldier by the door) Son, come over here. The soldier hesitantly walks over. SUPEREGO (contd) Take a sip. Dont worry. You are a soldier. The soldier looks at the generals. They wink him an OK right away. The soldier slowly takes the glass to his lips and even more slowly raises his hand, making the liquid sip down. (CONTINUED)

EGO (demonstrating his involvement) Come on, be a man. The soldier finally takes a full sip. Everybody, including himself wait for the result. The soldier is still holding his hand up in the air, curious and scared of what is going to happen. Suddenly his lips pull to the sides - up to his ears and a toothless, wide and stupid smile appears on his face. He speaks slowly and as if he has a hot potato in his mouth. SOLDIER Haooo, I am Napaaaon Bonapaaat niiice tu meet yooo...aa..oo then he momentarily changes into a real dictator and turns to the generals. SOLDIER (CONT) Hey you there, fat loosers. Stand up, lazy hamburgers. You are all fired. Clear the air NOW! SUPEREGO Oops, wrong glass. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: INT. BUS Zaro is standing next to Julias seat, while she remains seated. On her blouse a note says UCLA. She has some books resting on her lap. The top one reads as "The Id and Ego" by Sigmund Freud. ZARO So you go to UCLA? She smiles ZARO (CONT) How come I didnt meet you? I study there as well. Well.. He extends his hand

ZARO (CONT) ...lets meet. My name is Zaro. Eyes him for a moment, then... JULIA Im Julia ZARO Nice to meet you. Oh, whats that book about. JULIA Oh, this? Its Freud-I have to read it for the psychology class. Hes a little nervous. He cant help looking at the breasts. ZARO Yes, right, Ive heard about it. Its a good book. She smiles sweetly. But she understands why hes lost. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID CONFERENCE ROOM
ANIMATED: The soldier is now singing opera music at the top of his lungs. Ego is giggling under his nose. The generals eyes are flying out of their orbits. Superego screams into the ceiling. SUPEREGO Who has been messing around my office? INT. PYRAMID - OUTSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM - MEANWHILE Through a hole in the wall a big headed rat, CHICO with thick framed sunglasses resting at the tip of his nose, is watching the soldiers performance. He giggles as superego gets angry. With a satisfied expression on his face, he steps back from the hole, spreads his hands in the air and makes a circle dance. Then he makes hip-hopy gestures and again sticks back to the hole.

INT. PYRAMID - CONFERENCE ROOM Superego reaches for his pocket. SUPEREGO Well, its OK, I think I have a spare sample somewhere here. His hands storm through the pockets. Finally one comes out with a big flashlight in it. He spins out the back of it and takes out a little bottle. The soldier is singing and singing. SUPEREGO (contd) Shut up my son and try this one. Take a sip. SOLDIER (singing) Youu aare gettiing on myyy neeervs oold maaan. Taaake the sip yourseeeelf. All four generals jump up, with their angry eyes pointed at the soldier. The soldier quickly grabs and empties the bottle into his mouth. The generals sit down. Everyone is waiting for the result. INT. OUTSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM - MEANWHILE Chico is very curious by the hole as well. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: EXT. BUS Through the window is seen as Zaro is flirting with Julia. Meanwhile the bolts on the rear tire of the bus are screwing off by themselves. Zaro keeps flirting. The bolts are dropping out one by one. Then the tire starts to shake and comes out from its place.

INT. BUS - CONTINUOUS The bus driver is whistling under his nose. He looks into the side mirror and notices that the tire is moving next to the bus alone. He doesnt pay attention for a second then he suddenly looks back into the mirror and hits the breaks. EXT. STREET On the side of the street a black Mercedes is parked. INT. MERCEDES -CONTINUOUS On the back seat of the Mercedes a skin-headed and tattooed gangster is lying on his belly, slicing and eating an apple with a huge hunting knife, while a Chinese girl is giving him a back massage. INT. BUS The bus driver is spinning the wheel. EXT. STREET The bus spins and hits the parked Mercedes. EXT. STREET Through the car windows we see that the guy and the girl are shaken. She falls from top of his back. The Mercedes trunk opens up and dozens of pigeons fly out from there. The bus without stopping keeps moving and spinning. It knocks a fence down and keeps streaming farther. INT. BUS The bus driver is hitting the breaks, but in vein. BUS DRIVER Come on, come ooooon

INT. MERCEDES The gangster throws himself on the front seat and starting the engine - hits the gas. GANGSTER Wo, wo, where do you think you are going? EXT. STREET - MEANWHILE The Mercedes spins around with the open trunk. A cloud of 100 Dollar bills are flying out from the trunk as it streams after the bus. The bus is zigzaging through the street, going against the traffic, avoids hitting the cars while the Mercedes is furiously chasing it. INT. MERCEDES - MEANWHILE The gangster is draining a bottle of liquor with one hand while the other is holding the wheel. His eyes are peering out on the road from behind the bottle. GANGSTER Aaah, Ill get ya. INT. BUS The driver is hitting on the breaks, but it doesnt help. EXT. STREET - MEANWHILE The bus and the Mercedes reach the crossroad, almost touching. The Mercedes tries to turn around and cut ahead of the bus and at that moment in the middle of the crossroad, a truck crashes into the side door of the Mercedes. The bus keeps moving. INT. BUS The passengers are thrown from side to side. CUT TO:

INT. PYRAMID - CONFERENCE ROOM ANIMATED: The soldier is seating in a chair- Ego, Superego and the generals towering above his face, looking down on him. He looks at each one of those face, with naive happy smile of an infant that has not learned how to speak yet. He just makes unclear happy sounds. Superego looks satisfied. INT. PYRAMID - OUTSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM - MEANWHILE Chico is watching this with his crunched teeth, horrified from what hes seen. He turns away from the hole and walking to the other wall of the corridor, climbs into the hole in the tube that rises through the floor up to the ceiling. INT. TUBE - MOMENTS LATER Chico is sliding down. CHICO Aaaaaa His lips, mustache, hair are blown by the air stream. END OF ANIMATION: INT. BUS. The bus is still streaming. But no more cars are coming ahead. Slightly afar dozens of patrol cars are parked in a row. Behind the patrol cars the traffic is stopped. INT. TUBE ANIMATED: CHICO Ooooo END OF ANIMATION:

INT. BUS The bus driver spins the wheel at 90 degrees. EXT. STREET The bus turns and side slips straight to the patrol cars. INT. ZAROS HEAD - PYRAMID - TUBE ANIMATED: CHICO Mamaaa END OF ANIMATION: EXT. STREET The bus hits the row of patrol cars, and stops. INT. BUS People fall to the ground. Julia who has tightly grabbed the chair falls on the ground as well. Zaro who was standing by her chair falls on her. His face ends up in between her breasts. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - CONFERENCE ROOM ANIMATED: Superego and Ego, the generals all fall on the floor. One of the screens breaks from the ceiling and falls down and hangs a few inches above the floor, still holding on the cord. INT. PYRAMID - BASEMENT Id who is as well grabbing the arms of his chair to hold himself still has his eyes glued to the screen, full of excitement and happiness.

on the screen in Zaros POV are Julias big breasts, breathing heavily. She is lying on the floor with her curly red hair chaotically spread on the floor. She looks embarrassed. But that makes her look even more terribly beautiful. The sound of the screaming rat is getting closer and closer, but Id is not noticing it. He straightens in his chair to get a better look at the screen. In one hand he has a potato chip. The sound gets intense and the end of the tube starts vibrating which turns into a shake until Chico flies out like a bullet from the mouth of the tube and shoots into the ketchup plate, next to Id, sending splashes onto the screen. Id, still glued to the screen, is dipping the potato chip into the plate, which instead ends up in Chicos mouth. INT. PYRAMID - CONFERENCE ROOM - MEANWHILE The sound of serene is going off loudly. The lights are vibrating. Ego, Superego and the generals are under the table. The soldier is still in the chair, with his stoned childish smile pointed at the screen on with is Julias chest. SUPEREGO Generals !!! DO something EGO Come on now. The generals instead are holding tightly on the foot of the table. INT. PYRAMID - BASEMENT Chico is chewing with his mouth full. Ids empty fingers travel to his mouth and when he realizes that they are empty in an alarm turns to the plate. Chico at once swallows what he has in his mouth. Ids face turns red. His eyes fill with wrath.

INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - MEANWHILE The walls are shaking. The table is jumping up and down. The generals have clenched their teeth on their army suit collars, frightened to hell. INT. BASEMENT Chico holds his hands in the air. CHICO I know. I know. But Id wait if I were you. pause CHICO (CONT) You dont want to see me. That I know. But I got information for you. Special information. For free. If you calm down. Id gets curious. The rat, feeling proud of his leading position, turns his head to the TV and Julias appearance reflects in his sunglasses. CHICO (CONT) Niiiice. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: EXT. STREET The bus is smoking as numerous police officers and firemen have surrounded the bus. The people are being evacuated. Julia comes out of the bus. A female officer throws a blanket over her shoulders and walks her farther. Zaro comes out of the bus with searching eyes. But Julia is gone. He gets disappointed. An officer walks up to offer help. ZARO No thanks.
18. INT. UCLA - AUDITORUM - DAY Julia is in a small auditorium, with about 15 other students. She has a small bruise on her chick. Julia is seated in the first row. The professor is walking back and fort against a black board with posters hanging on it. On one of them is Sigmund Freuds portrait. PROFESSOR In his psychoanalytic theory Sigmund Freud described human behavior as a result of interrelations between 3 psyche constructs: Id, Ego and Superego. INT. UCLA - COMPUTER LAB - DAY Zaro is in front of a computer. The open web page on the monitor is the main site of UCLA. He clicks on search people. And types Julia. The search brings multiple results. He clicks on one. Its a professor. He backspaces. He keeps clicking and going back several times. He returns to the search window. He types Student contacts. The result says - no authorization. He looks away from the screen in despair. INT. UCLA - STUDENT CENTER - DAY Zaro walks into an office that has a -STUDENT CENTER sign on the door. He walks up to a desk and waits until the busy lady will address him. The strict lady with glasses looks up at him. STUDENT CENTER LADY May I help you? ZARO I...I...hi, I am looking for a person that...that lost her book. I would like their contact...her contact number, so that I can return her the book. STUDENT CENTER LADY Well, if you know the person, what is the problem?

ZARO Yes I know her. I just need the contact to pass her the book. I dont know where she lives. STUDENT CENTER LADY We are not allowed to disclose anyones personal information, Im sorry. She looks at him with a doubtful smile. And makes a joke with sarcasm. STUDENT CENTER LADY (CONT) You could also return the book to the library. That would save her trouble. And solve your problem. Zaro stands there in silence for a second or two. ZARO Thanks for the help. He turns and walks out of the office and continues walking along the corridor. ZARO (contd) (to himself) One big psychotherapist and works at the student center. suddenly Zaro stops. His eyes widen. ZARO (CONT) Oh...the psychology class. He quickly turns and runs up the stairs. INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY PROFESSOR Id, Ego and Superego are parts of the persons psyche. They shape the individuals behavior. They are invisible, which means that these are not organs that have a location. Freud gave these phenomenons names and according to his definition, Id is the dark, inaccessible part of (MORE) (CONTINUED)

PROFESSOR (contd) our personality. Id is responsible for our basic drives such as food, sex and aggressive impulses. Id is amoral and egocentric, ruled by the pleasure and pain mechanism. Id, is the reservoir of the libido-the love energy. One can not be aware of what Id does. In other words, its completely unconscious. PROFESSOR (CONT) Ego, instead is what we call the reason and common sense. It operates in between the desires and instincts and the moral formations that shape our behavior.Those moral formations are processed by Superego-the third construct, which in other words, is the internalized societal and parental standards of "good" and "bad" and "right" and "wrong" behavior. Ego cruises in between Id and superego to let both function at a level that maintains the individuals safety and satisfaction. Yet these structures conflict for power. And each individuals behavior will be determined by the dominating structure at a given time. The characteristics of the three constructs are quite different, even conflicting. For example-Id is the selfish, childish, pleasure-oriented part of the personality which strives for gratification by the now and here principle. Julias eyes widen. CUT TO: INT.Julia's IDS OFFICE - MEANWHILE ANIMATED: It is a big bedroom with pink bed with flamingo images in the center. Transparent curtains surround the bed. Next to the bed stands a lamp, next to which is a vase with fresh flowers in it. On the bed, is seated Julias Id, as (CONTINUED)

big breasted as Julia herself. In front of her, hanging over the bed is a wide LCD screen. To her left and right sides there are two huge keyboards. She is staring at the screen on which is the speaking professor . She turns to the 3 Barbie dolls seating next to her. JULIAS ID Did...did you just hear what he said about me? AUDITORIUM - DAY - CONTINUOUS Julias face is now doubtful. PROFESSOR Opposed to Id we have Ego- the rational, constructive, rule and law oriented part of the human psyche. That is there to set a dialog between the somatic necessities and existing moral values of the person. And speaking of the moral values, as I already mentioned, they are represented and practiced by the Superego construct which develops as the person grows up and familiarizes with the norms and values existing in the society.

INT. UCLA - COMPUTER LAB - DAY Zaro is at the computer. On the computer screen there are three classes. First says Thuesday 14:50-15:50, X Hall. The second Wednesday 11:30-12:30 Y Hall. The third - Wednesday 15:3016:30 Z Hall. He looks at his watch. It says 16:20. Zaro gets up and rushes to the exit. Then he stops. Runs back to the computer. Grabs the mouse and clicks on the campus map. The map appears. He glances over it and rushes to the exit. INT. AUDITORIUM -DAY The professor turns to the poster hanging on the blackboard. On it an iceberg is floating in the ocean. The iceberg is divided into three parts, with names written on them: ID, EGO, SUPEREGO. PROFESSOR (CONT) As you may notice,-the iceberg represents the human psyche as a unit that consists of three subunits in form of Id, Ego and Superego. You can see that Superego takes up as big of a place as the Ego and Id together. That says a lot about the role that norms and values play in our lives. The professor turns to a student, PETER that is speaking on his cell phone, almost hiding under the table. PROFESSOR (CONT) Peter. Did you know that the phone has a Superego too? Thats true. You tell the phone, "No calls during the class",- the phone goes dead. It wont work, even if you want to. But phones are phones, you never know. Everybody laughs. Peter straightens up, eyes rolled up to the ceiling.

PROFESSOR (CONT) (contd) Getting back to the iceberg, lets notice that the part of the iceberg above the water unites all the operations of the psyche that are conscious. That,in other words, is what we are aware of. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - LONG CORRIDOR #1 ANIMATED: Superego followed by Ego and the Four generals are walking through a silver shining corridor. The two soldiers are running behind the generals with an umbrella in each hand. SUPEREGO (without looking back) At least there is one office in this god damn place where we can have a calm and undisturbed conversation. I have had enough already. God. They make a turn and appear next to a door. The sign on the door says "Vacuum Room". Superego opens the door and walks in. Ego and the generals follow him. The soldiers follow them with the open umbrellas and get stuck in the door. The door slams on their faces. They slide down with their faces leaning against the door, until they hit the ground. The umbrellas close on the soldiers heads. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: EXT. UCLA - PARK - DAY Zaro is riding his bicycle at a very high speed. Tree leaves on the road fly to the sides as the bike streams by. EXT. UCLA - BUILDING 1 - MOMENTS LATER Zaros bike screeches to a halt at the entrance of the building. He throws the bike aside and rushes in.

INT. UCLA - BUILDING 1 - SECONDS LATER Zaro runs up the stairs and appears in a long corridor. In his hand he is holding a piece of paper with the class numbers. It says -No 203-. He walks along, searching for the number. He finds it and opens the door. A male and a female student are performing on a small stage, designed in the class. INT. UCLA - BUILDING 1 - ROOM 203 - CONTINUOUS A small audience is watching the performance. MALE STUDENT (to female student) Ohh, Veronique. My heart turned warm like the sun -the moment I met you. Then it flew away like a birdto search you when you left. But in the air it got shot by a blind hunter who thought it was a bird. Ohh, Veronique do you know a hospital nearby? Veroniques flirty look turns into a surprised look The audience burst out laughing. INT. UCLA - BUILDING 1 - CONTINUOUS Zaro closes the door and runs back along the corridor, then down the stairs. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - VACUUM ROOM ANIMATED: It is a big bulletproof GLASS SPHERE the sides of which touch the room walls. Metal chairs are attached to the glass from inside, forming a circle in the center. One particularly big and fancy chair stands out from the rest. A hatch opens at the bottom of the sphere and a large tray lifts up. On it Superego, Ego, and the generals are standing with their shoes belted on the tray platform. They unbuckle their feet and start to levitate in a state of weightlessness. (CONTINUED)

They slightly push against the board and fly high up into the center of the sphere. The generals fly with their eyes sparkling and their arms stretched out for a hug with the big chair as they move toward it. But Superegos face sticks into their way with a "Where the hell are you going!" expression on it and the generals quickly turn away, like "guilty dogs". Superego lands on the big chair, Next to him lands Ego In front of them land the generals. Everyone buckles up. They look at it each other. SUPEREGO All right, gentlemen. We dont have a lot of time,lets look at the options. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: EXT. UCLA - PARK Zaro is riding his bike at higher speed. Students walking across are slightly afraid and move to the sides to let him stream through like a thunder. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - BASEMENT ANIMATED: Id is pressing the gas pedal of a racing car that is only a big attraction toy placed in the basement. In front of it there is a huge screen where in Zaros POV we can see the park through which he is streaming. Zaro drives dangerously. Next to Zaro Chico is seated with a toothpick in his mouth. CHICO Hey, easy. Its just a woman. I dont want to die because of a woman. Heeey, watch ahead, there goes a pedestrian. (to the pedestrian) (MORE) (CONTINUED)

The watch on Rats hand lets out a continuous beep. The rat gets serious. CHICO (CONT) Man, I think, we have to talk. ID I dont have time. CHICO No this is serious. ID Shut up INT. PYRAMID - VACUUM ROOM Superego, Ego and the generals are seated in their chairs, with their belts tightened around their waists. A screen is floating in the middle of the sphere. On the screen is the image of a glass container. The name next to it says ANTI TESTOSTERONE. SUPEREGO I have to admit that all the previous drugs have not given me the effect I desired so much. Superegos long beard, in state of weightlessness, rises in the air, blocking his view. He grabs it and pulls down. Egos hands are resting on his belly that prevent his tie from levitating. SUPEREGO (CONT) Id has been unbeatable until today. But today, time has come to send him a retirement letter for the rest of his life. (pointing at the screen) (MORE) (CONTINUED)

SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) What you see on the screen is my new invention. Superegos beard rises again EGO (ironically) Should I call in that kind gentleman for a test? SUPEREGO ( nervously struggling with the beard) No, no need. Its fine. Superego finally ties the beard to the arm of the chair. Beat SUPEREGO (CONT) I need your support in this major event in our lives and the lives of our subordinates. Id must go down. There is not hope left for his change. EGO Well, allow me Ego straightens in the chair. His tie tries to rise, but he quickly grabs it and staffs it under his belt. EGO (CONT) Taking measures against Id I approve. I agree that we get into trouble more often than we should. But I suggest that we consider the possible consequences of sending Id to sleep, as you just mentioned. SUPEREGO Come on, egg. You know what I meannot literally sending to sleep, but rather filtering away manifestations of aggression and sexual impulses. Those are the sources of our troubles. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO:
28. INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY The professor continues lecturing. PROFESSOR The area between the white line and the water surface is the zone of the preconscious. As you see,Id is totally unconscious. Superego is unconscious most of the part, but has some preconscious and conscious aspects to it. Ego operates in the conscious and preconscious levels, yet still some of its actions are hidden into the unconsciousness. JOSEPH Well, all this is great. But,could you bring this theory down to Earth with an example? The professor scratches his head PROFESSOR Well, imagine a situation when you are walking in a dark street alone, and you suddenly see a woman hanging with her full weight on the purse that the thief is trying to steal. She is crying out for help, and there is only you that can possibly help her. What would you do? Stated otherwise-what would Id, Ego and Superego do? EXT. UCLA - PARK - MEANWHILE Zaro is streaming on his bike like a thunder. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - BASEMENT - MEANWHILE ANIMATED: Chico has closed his eyes with his hands, but is still gazing through the fingers at the screen. CHICO Hey, youll kill as both. Oh no watch where youre going. EXT. UCLA - PARK The bicycle knocks against a stone and Zaro flies out straight into the nearby bushes. Silence INT. PYRAMID - BASEMENT ANIMATED: Zaros Id and the Chico are knocked out. Id comes to consciousness slowly and still rubbing his eyes turns to Chico. ID Hey, what was it that you wanted to tell me? Chico doesnt move. ID (CONT) Hey, Chico, come on Chico stays motionless. Id starts crying, hagging the rat. ID (CONT) Chico, ohh, God, come on. Why did you do this to me? At this moment the rat smiles, with his eyes still closed. Id notices that and immediately stops crying. ID Youuuuu !!! Chico laughs CHICO Well, you do consider me a friend, dont you? ID No, I dont CHICO No, you do

PROFESSOR See, that line is a pure Ego Product. Typically in such a situation - your Id would strive for a shelter for yourself. The Ego would stop to think of a good reason for doing so. And Superego would stand alone in the light of shame, about how bad it is to leave the woman alone against the predator. ASHLEY Its like three animals pulling the carriage in different directions. FIELD ANIMATED: In the middle of a vast field two skinny Indian characters wrapped up in white cotton are levitating in a lotus posture. One is slightly higher in the air than the other. Its Kapurs superego, aged and wearing glasses. Next to him is Kapurs Ego, middle aged. Their eyes are closed. Kapurs Id, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, runs toward levitating Superego and Ego and looks up to them. KAPURS ID (O.S.) Hey guys it is not working. We need to pull the carriage in three directions. Kapurs Id likes the idea and streams off. The two remain in the same unchanged positions. Having run quite a distance, Kapurs Id stops and screams. KAPURS ID Hey guys, this is not working either. Superego and Ego, share a gesture that shows that Id is getting on their nerves. They take out smoking pipes from their pockets and put in their mouths. END OF ANIMATION: INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY ANDREY Does a thief have a superego at all? Kapur seems lost in his own thoughts. But he suddenly speaks up, interrupting Andreys question. ANDREY And he would be walking heavily, asking people to open the zipper and take some coins out, so he would get light. But the zipper wouldnt open. The zipper would be broke. Everybody laughs, even the professor LILIA And what if he turned into a female purse? JASON Ohh, that would be a real punishment. That literally makes him a garbage can. KAPUR Buddha will find him a place OMAR, an Arabic young man, reacts OMAR Oh, give me a break, spirituality has nothing to do with this situation. Its life. Kapurs Superego speaks without opening his eyes in a most slow and ceremonial way. KAPURS SUPEREGO My son. You can run to the lady and start pulling the bag with her. But at that moment- when the police passes by and the thief runs away earlier than you - you are going to jail. And deported afterwards. Remember, patience is everything. Kapurs Ego nods to agree. END OF ANIMATION: INT. AUDITORIUM - DAY KAPUR I wonder what Freuds opinion is on this. PROFESSOR Well, I guess, we will hardly get a chance to hear it. They laugh EXT. UCLA - PARK - MEANWHILE Zaro is running with a slightly limping foot. His bike is no longer with him. INT. AUDITORIUM -DAY PROFESSOR Yur discussion circles around the thief as a negative character. And what were doing is just a brain exercise. Otherwise I agree with you. Silence fills in the auditorium as the students get thoughtful. Then suddenly Julia sparkles JULIA Hey, what if the thief grabbed the bag and found out that the woman was carrying a bomb, and all she was trying to do-was to save the bomb that would kill thousands of people moments later. PROFESSOR Great. Terrorism-quite an up to date issue. I wish that happened in real life. Thank you for your creative answer. (to the class) Guys, see, brainstorming is a process carried out by Ego. But your superego has a significant role on the direction that your ideas formulate. I want you to monitor your own behavior and thinking process from now on. And as your knowledge deepens, youll see things in quite a different light. That is part of the purpose why you are taking this course. INT. UCLA - OUTSIDE THE AUDITORIUM Julia and the other students come out of the auditorium and walk along the corridor. As Julia disappears in the student jam, we TILT UP to get the number above the classroom that says -N 123-. EXT. UCLA - BUILDING 2 Zaro limps to the Building 2 entrance. He looks tired, but without resting - opens the door and walks in. INT. BUILDING 2 - MOMENTS LATER Zaro is walking up the stairs, holding on the hand rails. He makes the final steps, heavily breathing and walks through the corridor. By the auditorium -N 123- he stops. Opens the door. Its empty. He looks at his watch. Its 16:40. He leans on the door and catches some air. Zaro freezes in that position for a minute. Then he turns back into the corridor and slowly walks along it. Reaching the stairs, he stops and sits down. He is sad and exhausted. Slowly R&B rhythms fade in. Meanwhile we hear Zaros rhythmic voice over. ZARO (V.O.) I saw you in the bus And I lost my peace Since then Im having dreams But Ill tell you this Julia, oh Julia Im coming after you The very day I find you (MORE) (CONTINUED)

ZARO (V.O.) (contd) Ill stay beside you Zaro quickly pulls out a pen with a notebook from his pocket. He turns an open page and starts to jolt down the same text, but as he finishes a line, from the corner of the notebook his eyes catch an image of a book that is lying on the stairs in a hardly visible corner. He gets up, walks down and grabs the book. It says "The Id and the Ego" by Sigmund Freud. He flips the book open and slides the pages. Something between the pages catches his attention. He flips the pages back to find Julias student I.D. resting there. The name on it says Julia Bergman. Zaro cant believe his eyes. He takes another good look at the I.D. and gets up with the book in his hand. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - LABORATORY ANIMATED: Superego, Ego and the Generals, dressed in long white robes are walking along the laboratory. There are shelves all along the road with many glass containers on them, filled up with liquids of different colors. Superego is carrying a silver shining metal case with him. They approach a table loaded with equipment for chemical and medical experiments. Superego rests the case on the table. Everybody waits for Superego. He pushes the buttons. The case flips open. SUPEREGO (looking down into the case) My sweet little baby. I raised you like my own child. (to the generals) It was the size of my fingernail, when I found it at my doorstep. Superego reaches into the case and raises his palm to his mouth. On it is lying the tiny mouse, Little Ilka, that the eagle stole. He takes the mouse to his lips and whispers to it. SUPEREGO (CONT) Daddy is putting you on a little mission. Ok ?- my little (MORE) (CONTINUED)

SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) sweetheart! Its a special mission. Daddy wont trust it to anybody else. The mouse is not as happy as Superego. Ego makes ironic facial expressions, as if he is terribly touched by this emotional scene that the old pretender has set up. Superego, while still flirting with the mouse, with the corner of his eye trows a questioning look at Ego. Ego straightens up. Superego returns his full attention to the mouse. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) Ok, sweety. Now daddy will serve you some candy and that will count as an early Christmas present. Let me see... Superego walks up to a machine, that has a massage board sticking out from it. He lays the mouse on it, face down. The mouse raises its cute eyes up to Superego. There is kindness, sorrow and naiveness in those eyes. Superego whistles a good night song in return, to add up some cheer to the moment. Meanwhile he tightens the belts that hold the mouse on the board. The mouse, intuitively foresees something, but rests his head on the board, without reaction. Its eyes are sad. And it doesnt resist a bit. The generals are standing there with strict expressions on their faces. Ego is as well far not cheerful.He keeps looking at Superego, not fully happy about the happening. Yet superego does not look Egos way and keeps whistling. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) (to the mouse) Well, well. You seem to be ready, huh? Superego pushes a button on the machine. (CONTINUED)

The board travels inside a glass box. We can see the mouse through it. Ego keeps leering at Superego. Superego doesnt mind it. He reaches into the case and takes out four ampules.Holding them between his fingers he raises them in the air and shakes them. All the ampules have different colored liquids in them. On the ampules the stickers say: POWER, TARGET, COORDINATION, SELF-DESTRUCTION. Superego looks at that color bouquet with excitement, then locates the POWER AMPULE into a bullet form special compartment on the machine, that has a transparent rubber chord coming out from it and traveling into the box. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) This one will give you strength. Strength, to survive on the road and overcome all the obstacles. Superego then puts the TARGET AMPULE into the next compartment that is neighboring the previous. A separate chord travels into the box as well. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) This will make sure that your arrow hits the door of the villain. One of the generals, GENERAL 1 whispers into Egos ear. GENERAL 1 What arrow? We have no arrows in the arsenal. The other generals try to ear the conversation. EGO Dont mind it. He acts old school, but flows with the new. Its cool. Just one of his tricks. GENERAL 1 Oh..oh..well then. GENERAL 1 turns to see the other generals eavesdropping. They straighten up. Ceremonially, without hurrying, Superego places the nextCOORDINATION AMPULE into its compartment. (CONTINUED)

He takes a long look at the SELF-DESTRUCTION AMPULE and with a forced pitiful expression on his face locates the ampule in the according compartment. SUPEREGO (CONT) (to the mouse with fake sadness) Its been great knowing you. A beat. Egos looking at Superego. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) (to the mouse) You know, Ive always been proud of you. A beat. The generals are holding their breath. SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) Well...I..I just cant find the right words. Tired of showing off, Superego hits the red button.
Sounds come out from the machine and ... ...inside the box four needles at the end of the rubber chords travel toward strapped Little Ilka and enter her skin. The liquid from the POWER compartment travels very slowly through the transparent rubber chord into the box. The mouse is peaceful. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: INT. ZAROS HOUSE - KITCHEN Zaro is holding the fridge door open, trying to find something to eat. The emptiness of the fridge has paused him. (CONTINUED)

A bottle of juice is resting somewhere in the corner of the fridge. There is cheese on the other corner and a couple of slices of ham somewhere in a box. ZARO Maaaa, why dont we have anything to eat? ZAROS MOTHER (O.S.) I told you to bring some food. I am too busy at the office this week. You got to start listening to me... ZARO (not willing to listen to her monologue) Ok, all right. Ill do something about it. He opens the freezer at the same time. There is nothing in there either. He grabs the bottle in the fridge. Removes the top and smells it doubtfully. Then looks at the back of the bottle at the dates. Anyway, he gets tired and with a "whatever" look on his face, takes a sip. Then grabs two slices of ham and closes the fridge. The loaves of bread are on the counter. Zaro walks up, grabs two, makes a sandwich with the ham. He opens the cupboard and takes a plate out. In the lower drawer he finds a half full bag of potato chips, pours some on the plate, puts the sandwich next to it, takes it and picking up the bottle alongside, heads out of the kitchen. INT. ZAROS HOUSE - BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS Zaro is seating in front of his computer. One hand is on the mouse and the other is busy serving food and drinks to his mouth. On the screen is the Facebook web page open. He clicks on the search button. A new window opens. He types with his pointing finger Julia Bergman. And hits enter. Then staffs his mouth with some chips, and takes a sip from the bottle. As the result comes, he freezes. (CONTINUED)

On the screen in a small window is Julias profile picture. Zaro clicks on it and straightens up in his chair. Her profile page opens and now Julias big picture stands before us on the screen. She is beautiful and smiling. Zaros sandwich is frozen in the air, not having reached his mouth. He cant believe his eyes. His hand is slightly shaking. Her beautiful curly red hair falls down on her shoulders. She has an elegant white silk top that shapes her full chest. As Zaro examines the details of the picture, he starts feeling bad. Zaros POV: the screen slowly gets blurry. He shakes his head, moves it around, slaps himself, but no help. Everything turns more and more blurry. Zaro grabs his belly in pain and curls up, falling down on the floor. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - LABORATORY - MEANWHILE ANIMATED: The laboratory walls shake terribly, equipment jumps up and down. As the shelves vibrate madly, the glass containers fall on the floor and break thick and fast. Superego has grabbed the machine with the mouse in it and is holding tightly on it. The lights go off and come on. The laboratory is going through an earthquake. Ego and the generals fall down on the floor, not being able to hold on the table that was keeping them straight. The machine that superego is hugging detaches from the table and Superego collapses on the floor along with the machine. Noise and sounds of breaking equipment come out from everywhere. The fluorescent lights fall down and break all over the laboratory. The only light left, that is still hanging above the camera on its own electric chord - breaks and flies down on the camera. The screen goes black with a crash sound. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: BLACK SCREEN (CONTINUED)

The pulsating beep sound of the heart machine transforms into a continuous monotone sound. DOCTOR 1 (O.S.) (screaming) Hey..,hey-Im loosing heart rate here. Get the charge. DOCTOR 2 (O.S.) PYRAMID - LABORATORY ANIMATED: The only unbroken floor turns on momentarily, face, resting on the floor. Ego. Superego is motionless light goes off again. fluorescent light lying on the illuminating Egos peaceful The generals are lying behind somewhere in the background. The END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: BLACK SCREEN The buzzing continuous sound prevails again. DOCTOR 1 (O.S.) Were losing it. Once more The ELECTRICAL CHARGE is heard. No difference- the buzz continues.

At once the sounds of the roaring car engine, ambulance serene and the buzz FADE OFF and we hear the AMPLIFIED SOUNDS of the syringe needle STUB through the chest, PENETRATE the heart and INJECT adrenaline. ..silence... The buzz slowly FADES IN again, but its continuity suddenly breaks and we hear pulsations. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - LABORATORY ANIMATED: The fluorescent light turns on again, slightly vibrating. Everyone is in their previous positions. Egos eye bulbs suddenly move under the closed eyelids. The pulsating sound FADES OFF and the rythmic SOUND of the real heart beat FADES IN with a strong bass. DOCTOR 1 (O.S.) Thanks God. DOCTOR 2 (O.S.) (to Zaro) Boy, hold on. Were almost there. The sound of Zaro breathing through an oxygen mask joins the heart beat. We glide over Ego and the mess on the floor with all kinds of broken and unbroken things and slowly move toward the generals, who are lying: one on his back, the other on his face with one hand stuck under his own belly, anothers foot is only seen, we glide over the generals and approach Superego that is lying with his back to us, still hagging the machine. Coming close we glide over Superego and lower on the machine. Its torn into pieces, as if a bomb has exploded there. The mouse is not there. We RISE UP to get a shot of the open door.
45. INT. PYRAMID - CORRIDOR OUTSIDE LABORATORY - CONTINUOUS We are moving along the corridor. Some parts of the caged metal floor are ripped off. These parts are revealed lying here and there farther along the corridor. Above those pieces the walls are broken and cracked. We keep moving farther along the corridor to REVEAL the elevator with the broken doors. Inside the elevator the buttons on the switch panel are lying all over the floor. The panel itself is bent inwards and bears signs of a powerful punch. Suddenly the walls start shaking as we hear someone from upstairs hit, kick and punch the walls. Sounds of collapses are heard from upstairs. In the elevator some of the still remaining buttons on the switch panel start to fall down. END OF ANIMATION: INT. AMBULANCE BLACK SCREEN DOCTOR 1 (O.S.) Boy, do you hear me? FADE IN: ZAROs POV: very blurry The eyelids turns BLACK Zaros eyelids slowly slide open to REVEAL a image of the doctors towering above his face. blink once, twice, then close and the screen again.
DOCTOR 2 (O.S.) Its ok, were almost there. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - LABORATORY ANIMATED: Superego stirs in sleep. He lets out a cough and his eyes blink. He awakens. His eyes move around to get an idea of what happened. Finally getting the image of the torn machine without the mouse he JOLTS to a sitting position. He looks at still unconscious EGO and the generals and then at the complete mess in the laboratory. An "Oh No" expression hits his face. And he screams...

Superego gets to his feet and walks toward the generals He kicks the generals feet while heading toward Ego. SUPEREGO (CONT) Dont sleep loosers!, youre on duty. He approaches Ego, who is sleeping most peacefully, as if in a sweat dream. Superego squats by Ego and starts slightly slapping him. SUPEREGO Hello, anybody there? Do you have an idea of whats going on? Ego stirs, and opens his eyes, half asleep and still unaware of whats going on. EGO Wha..what? SUPEREGO (teasing) Wa..wa...get up. Were in deep trouble. ILKA is gone. EGO Ilka...well..it was supposed to.. SUPEREGO Its not just gone. The program was aborted. Only the power and part of the target ampules were injected. The generals SURPRISED and stupid physiognomies stick out over Superegos shoulder. GENERALS (all together) Whats that supposed to mean? SUPEREGO (CONT) That means, pumpkin heads, that he is strong like a bull, has no specific goal, doesnt know how to reach the target, and is a threat for everyone. Yes, and he does not plan to say good bye no time soon.

The breaking sounds are heard again from upstairs. Dust and particles from the ceiling start to fall down on their heads. Ego gets to his feet. EGO (critically) An accident. He walk to the other end of the laboratory. Superego and the generals follow him. At the other end Ego opens up a door that looks the same as the other doors in the laboratory. Its an elevator. They all walk in and close the door. INT. PYRAMID - THE ROUND TABLE CHAMBER HALLWAY The elevator doors open revealing Ego, Superego and the generals rush out. They hurry along the corridor that is finely equipped with fancy golden lights on the walls and with high quality wallpaper. They stream toward the big doors at the end of the hall. The hallway floor is covered with a red carpet. As they reach the huge and heavy wooden doors, these open up, REVEALING dozens of formally dressed men seating around a large wooden round table. INT. PYRAMID - ROUND TABLE CAHMBER - CONTINUOUS Ego, followed by Superego and the generals march into the room. Everyone stands up. SUPEREGO (gesturing) You may be seated EGO (without waiting) As you already know, were having a critical situation. We need to come up with a plan. INT. HALLWAY LEADING TO SUPEREGOS OFFICE We are moving up a metal stairway, revealing on the way parts of the stairs missing and the rails bent and smashed in places. The sounds of breaking are very close. As we enter a hallway we keep moving toward a door that is half open. The sounds get closer. We travel through the door and appear in Superegos office.
49. INT. SUPEREGOS OFFICE -CONTINUOUS We are now gliding over bookshelves that are lying on the floor with their books flooded out. In some places the shelves are still leaning awkwardly on each other, and happen to collapse as we pass by. Somewhere in the background shelves are still flying here and there. The shelves are collapsing one after another as we turn over to reveal the causer of the mess-ILKA. It has the facial expression of the little mouse we have seen. Only this one is a monster mouse. Shes tall, with huge sticking out eyes and long mustache. She has curly hair on her head. At this moment, as we are close to Ilka, it turns to look around for more things to break. And she spots a bookshelf standing against the wall. She moves toward it like a bear. Reaching the shelf, she grabs it with her paws and pulls the shelf. It doesnt move. Instead it shakes a little bit. Ilka growls furiously. Tries harder, but the shelf wont move. She then wipes the books onto the floor. Row after row she throws the books around irrationally. Suddenly, as the books on the shelf fly down we get an image of a black BUTTON sticking out of the wall. Ilkas hand goes for another wipe out and accidentally hits the button. The shelf- now as a DOOR inside the wall - opens up, revealing an elevator cabin inside the wall. Ilka steps back, slightly shaken. Examines the shelf with curiosity of an infant. And still sniffing the cabin from outside, Ilka makes small steps into it. The semi collapsed shelf that was leaning on the wall collapses on the floor behind Ilka, freaking her out, who already in between the elevator doors tries to turn, but instead falls on her back into the cabin at the same time hitting the switch board with her neck. The cabin starts moving down, taking Ilka with it. INT. PYRAMID - 6TH FLOOR - DANCING HALL The dancing hall is flooded with couples who are dancing waltz under classical music (Waldtuefells "The Scaters"). The music is played by a small orchestra of musicians grouped on a stage at the end of the hall. In the center of the hall dozens of men and women, dressed in 17th century outfits circle in a dance forming a dancing arena. Surrounding the center other men and women are seating on chairs and watching the dance. Waiters in black smokings (the only modern outfit) are serving them drinks. (CONTINUED)

The dancing couples faces are shining as they move around with the music rhythm. Suddenly the doors fly open, REVEALING Ilka, who is streaming forward. She is looking around for the source of the music. Everybody starts screaming. Women, lost in panic- run to the sides. Some step on their long dresses fall to the floor. There are men who help them, there are some who prefer to save themselves. But Ilka does not pay attention to this. The music is still playing. And she is obsessed with it. Ilka sniffs the air with her nose raised high. She is looking for the source of the music. She finally spots the stage at the end of the hall. She heads there. Ilka slowly walks up to the musicians who keep playing their instruments with yet trembling hands. Ilka walks toward them with so much nostalgia and love in her eyes. Those eyes radiate with kindness. The musicians instead look back with fear in their eyes. Already too close to the musicians, Ilka stops and lies down on the floor at the musicians footsteps. With her eyes pointed up to them. This cheers up the musicians and they, surprised as much as afraid, put more energy into their play. Ilka with her desirous vision FlASH ON Little Ilka, is lying in a cage, which is sitting on the windowsill. Her cute little eyes are pointed at Sandra who is playing the same music on violin. BACK TO: While Ilka is lying with her back to the door,enjoying the music, suddenly armed soldiers flood into the hall with guns pointed at Ilka. Musicians immediately drop down to the floor. The soldiers FIRE, sending a "flock" of bullets toward Ilka in SLOW MOTION. She turns to see this but two bullets catch her in the chest. eyes pointed at the players has a

Ilka is shaken, but manages to turn and grab the huge piano to cover with. The next arriving bullets penetrate the piano without stopping, making hundreds of holes. Suddenly the shooting stops as the soldiers run out of bullets. The piano falls apart. Ilka throws the piano remains at the soldiers, knocking them to the floor. She runs toward them and by stepping on those on the floor escapes into the hall and continues running along the hall. INT. PYRAMID - 6TH FLOOR - CORRIDOR - CONTINUOUS Ilka is streaming through the corridor, in front of her several soldiers are running as fast as they can to save themselves. Ilka is running behind them. At the end of the corridor she takes a turn and appears in another corridor. She runs along this corridor. Suddenly several doors open and several grenades are thrown into the corridor. The doors close. Ilka looks at the grenades, spinning on the floor, right at her feet and then looks around. Next to her is a door. She kicks the grenades afar and crashes into the door with her shoulder. The door breaks - Ilka collapses into the room - and the grenades explode at the same time. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: INT. HOSPITAL - ZAROS ROOM Zaro is alone in the hospital room, sleeping on the bed. Next to him the heart machine is beeping. INT. HOSPITAL - LOBBY Julia, dressed casually walks into the hospital. She walks by the receptionist, MARTA. JULIA Hi, Marta, whats up. MARTA Wow, you are here. Good evening Julia. What a nice blouse. JULIA Thanks, how are the things?

JULIA Oh come on, I just came to look for my book, I thought I left it here. I need it for my paper. MARTA (winking to Julia to look back) Julia. INT. HOSPITAL - ZAROS ROOM Zaro is still asleep. The zigzagging heart wave on the machine and its sound break the silence in the room. INT. HOSPITAL - CORRIDOR - MEANWHILE Julia, now dressed in a white medical coat and wearing a hat with a red cross on it is walking along the corridor. She walks up to the door of Zaros room and enters it. Through the window we can see her walk up to the bed. She looks at Zaro, but doesnt recognize him. Then she looks around the room, then back at the Zaro. And then on the floor. Her eyes strain then she squats to pickup something from the floor. She rises with a piece of paper in her hand. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - A LONG CORRIDOR ANIMATED: Ilka is running along another corridor. On her way a door that is very close to her opens up and a soldier tries to aim his gun at her but Ilka knocks him out so hard that he flies into the wall of the room. Ilka rushes forward. The corridor ends with the stairways. INT. PYRAMID - 6TH FLOOR - STAIRWAYS - CONTINUOUS She starts walking down, but as she makes a step or two, from downstairs hundreds of bullets fly on her. She walks back and awaits. The firing stops. She makes a step forward and the firing starts again. She walks back, looks around and spots the big doors at the entrance of the corridor. She tears one off. Ilka now makes a step forward holding the door in front of her. The firing starts again. Hundreds of bullets arrive on the door, some pierce the door and penetrate Ilkas legs. From the chest wound, blood is leaking.

Ilka, realizing that it is no good going down, throws the door at the soldiers, knocking some out and runs up the stairs. The remaining soldiers run behind her still shooting. The commander following the soldiers speaks into his walkie-talkie. COMMANDER He is climbing upstairs. EXT. PYRAMID - MEANWHILE An army of soldiers are grouped outside the pyramid.
A helicopter is circling around the pyramid with a sniper positioned on it. On the GROUND General 1, standing behind dozens of columns of armed soldiers and antiaircraft artillery weapons speaks into the walkie-talkie. GENERAL 1 Thats the only good news up until now. Get him up to the skating rink. Way to go boys, keep it up. INT. PYRAMID - STAIRWAYS Ilka is climbing up the stairs while the soldiers are chasing her - shooting non stop. The commander of the soldiers, following the soldiers makes orders into the walkie-talkie. COMMANDER Unit B -everybody get in positions. Dont let the object through. Make it retreat into the hallway. Do not let it climb higher. Ilka is running away from the bullets that are almost reaching her. She turns to climb to the next floor but a group of soldiers start shooting from upstairs. She turns to find out that the soldiers from downstairs are almost on the same floor with her, reloading their guns. She frowns and immediately grabs the doors of the corridor. She rippes them off and throws- one at the group downstairs and - the other at the ones that are upstairs.

The soldiers downstairs get knocked out and roll down the stairs and pile up on each other. Ilka runs AHEAD into the hallway. The commander who is at the bottom of the pile is helped to his feet as the soldiers get off him. He grabs the walkie-talkie. COMMANDER (contd) Units C and D, ready in positions. Shoot that bastard for Gods sake. INT. PYRAMID - 10TH FLOOR HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS Ilka is now running along this long hallway. She approaches a crossroad and decides to turn to the left, but at this moment a stack of automatic guns stick out from behind the wall and open fire. She turns to run to the right, but another group of soldiers are already there shooting. She instead keeps running FORWARD. She is running straight toward the only door that is left in the hallway. From behind her bullets are still flying toward her. Some outrun her and pierce the door in front of her, some penetrate her back. Ilka reaches the door and knocks it open REVEALING a large skating rink, to the side of which are the huge pyramid windows, opening a scene over the city. Ilka rushes in and closes the door. EXT. PYRAMID General 1 speaks into the walkie-talkie. GENERAL 1 Hes in !!! Great, great, great. Let him enjoy the view over the city. Ha ha ha ha. Why dont we give him a parachute and let it fly around for a bit. No, hes had enough? ha ha ha....he, she -who cares. Well, as you say commander. INT. PYRAMID - SKATING RINK Ilka is trying to hold her balance on the ice. But instead she makes couple of steps and falls down. She sits there on the ice in complete silence and looks around at the empty seats that are rising to the sides of the rink. In front of her huge glass windows reveal a beautiful scene over the city. Suddenly SOUNDS of ROLLING WHEELS are heard and the end of the skating rink where Ilka is seating , starts to rise. The other opposite end, behind which are the pyramid windows doesnt move. Ilka starts to slide down. She stabs her clams into the ice. The end of the rink rises higher and higher. The higher it gets the more Ilka moves down with her claws scratching the ice. Finally the side of the rink starts rising rapidly and forms an 80 degree angle. Ilka slides down more rapidly. Her claws cant handle any more the pressure and she lets them go. Ilka slides at a high speed, face down on the ice - straight into the window. EXT. PYRAMID - 10TH FLOOR- MEANWHILE Windows break to pieces as Ilka flies out from the 10th floor... ...travel forward in the air with a cloud of glass pieces behind her... ...and streams down to the city. EXT. HIGHWAY - MEANWHILE A huge truck with a big fried chicken poster on it is streaming on the highway. Inside the drivers cabin the driver, a skinny man with a beard, wearing a greasy T-shirt, is singing along some rock music that is so loud that mufflers the truck engine. High in the air Ilka is still falling down, now faster. The truck is streaming. Ilka is falling faster. The driver is singing. Ilka almost reaches the ground as the truck streams under her - she crashes through the truck roof and lands inside it with a thud. The truck shakes from side to side.

The driver in the cabin, gets slightly alerted and looks into the mirror. Seeing nothing he tries to go back to his singing but for the sake of double checking looks back at the mirror again. There is nothing wrong. Relaxing again, he goes on singing along the radio. EXT. PYRAMID - MOMENTS LATER The surprised and shocked general puts his palm on his forehead. GENERAL 1 Jesus Christ (into the walkie talkie) Attention...hey...I am talking to all of you... announce a state of emergency. He switches off the walkie-talkie and turns to his soldier assistant who is waiting for the general to give him orders. GENERAL 1 (CONT) Find me a cup of coffee, I think my head is going to fall off soon. EXT. HIGHWAY The truck is streaming along the highway next to numerous other cars. On the truck roof, there is a big hole in Ilkas shape. Inside the salon the driver is still singing with his crooked voice, displaying his deserted mouth. Two, three teeth are all that is out there. The truck whooshes past the camera. END OF ANIMATION: INT. HOSPITAL - ZAROS ROOM Julia is standing next to Zaros bed with the piece of paper in her hand. The paper reads: I saw you in the bus - And I lost my peace - Since then Im having dreams - But Ill tell you this Julia, oh Julia - Im coming after you - The very day I find you - Ill stay beside you. Julia throws a romantic and happy looks at Zaro. She has recognized him. She puts the paper down on the table next to the bed. Then takes a little bottle and a tissue, soaks the tissue with the liquid from the bottle and bends over Zaro to wipe the bruise on his forehead. Meanwhile she examines his peaceful face. In a moment she pauses there above his face, breathing against his chick. Rapid footsteps are heard from the corridor that gets slower as... ...Julia straightens up and to look in the direction of the window. ZAROS MOTHER is looking at Zaro through the glass while tightly holding her bag strap. She walks up to the the door, opens it and walks in slowly, holding her palm up to her mouth, to not cry. ZAROS MOTHER My boy. Julia straightens her coat, nervously turning around the medicine bottle in her hand. Zaros mother walks straight to the bed, without noticing Julia. ZAROS MOTHER (CONT) My lovely boy, what had you done?, Why did God punish you so hard? JULIA Mam, hes fine now. Hell be absolutely fine very soon. Zaros mother sits on his bed, patting Zaros head. ZAROS MOTHER My boy. She sits there in silence, then turns and throws a quick look at the paper on the table and then... ZAROS MOTHER (contd) (without looking at Julia) Did he propose to you already? Julia is taken aback. JULIA Excuse me? A bit. Still she doesnt turn.

Zaros mother opens the door and exits. Julia turns toward the bed to discover Freuds book lying on top of Zaro. She cant believe she missed it. She walks up to the bed, picks the book up and flips through the pages. There are many pieces of papers with handwritten poetry on it lying in between the pages of the book. Some of them fall to the ground. Julias grabs one and sees her name mentioned here and there. Another one she grabs and again , Julia. Her eyes momentarily moisten. Shes happy. CUT TO:

EXT. HIGHWAY - NIGHT ANIMATED: Its dark now. The truck, with the headlights on is still streaming on the highway. It gradually lowers its speed and takes the right exit. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT A fast food restaurant is shining its "MCLOADS" sign through the darkness. The entrance looks out on a street. Through the door we can see quite a number of people enjoying food, ice-cream, drinks inside the restaurant. Two young couples, seating by the window, get up from their seats and head toward the exit. They open the door, still laughing and chatting. GUY 1 I dont know man, let them say whatever they want to say about fast. Let them make movies about how bad fast food is. But this thing keeps us on a hook. I respect it. They laugh. The guy stops there in front of the entrance to finish his speech as if hes going to say something hilarious. GUY 1 (CONT) Im serious, man. If someone was able to come up with the food that you cant resist, then its a moment for respect. GUY 1S GIRLFRIEND How can you say that? If someone puts a poison in the candy, the candy still tastes good at that moment of eating. So, leave those moments of respect. (laughing) OK !? His girlfriend hits him in the back, laughing. GUY 1S GIRLFRIEND Stop it. The guy ceases pretending. They all burst out laughing and keep walking along the sidewalk. At this moment the huge truck arrives at the entrance of the restaurant.The track screeches to a halt, knocking out couple of "no parking" signs. The driver opens the truck door and jumps down. He walks up to the entrance, opens the door and walks inside still wearing his greasy dirty T-shirt. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - CONTINUOUS The driver walks though the alley between the tables with his unshaved and toothless smiling face pointing to the right and to the left. Meanwhile he tries to be friendly with his terrible accent. DRIVER (hoarse voice) Helo, helo- good apetit, yall was up. Even though people react to him as to a weirdo, he still continues dropping a line or two along the way to the counter. DRIVER (CONT) Gud morning, gud ivning, Helo, helo, Im a Jigit... Georgia. hahaha People lean back as he waves his long hands above their plates. But he doesnt stop at any particular place and keeps walking to the counter. And reaching the counter...

DRIVER (disappointed that she didnt pick up the baton) Aaaah.... but suddenly DRIVER (CONT) Michael Jordan! Employee 2 is lost in the answer just as the manager, MRS. The doors open, REVEALING Ilka who is seating there eating the last pieces of chicken. There is huge mountain of piled up bones by her. Noticing the guests, Ilka stands up. She looks even bigger inside the truck. The driver grabs his own hat to wipe up the sweat from his forehead. DRIVER (something in his native language) Walla ha! (CONTINUED) into the curtain

Ilka sits down on the edge of the truck and jumps to the ground. She walks toward the restaurant. INT. "" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - CONTINUOUS People in the restaurant watch in complete amazement the screaming driver turn to the right then to the left, shouting at the top of his lungs. They look at him as if at a performing wild animal, when at that moment... ...Ilkas figure appears in the door, standing full length, with the truck headlights, illuminating from the back. She is sniffing the air. The driver poses in an awkward position. For a moment everything freezes in the restaurant. Only Ilkas breathing is heard on the background of jazz music played by the radio. Then... ...everybody bursts out screaming. People rise from their tables in panic and move farther into the restaurant and wait to see... ...Ilka make a step forward. They panic even more: women SCREAM, children CRY. We hear exclamations through this chaos

FAMILY FATHER Lets break the windows, Suddenly the jazz that was playing is interrupted and the RADIO ANNOUNCER speaks. Everybody goes silent. RADIO ANNOUNCER Dear citizens, were interrupting the music program due to the extreme situation created in the city. Hours ago His Honer Ego spoke at the parliament declaring a state of emergency. Due to the situation, it is the duty of every one of us to stay out the street for the time being. The cause of the emergency, a monster mouse, is extremely dangerous and not under control. Please, stay out of the street. And report any information regarding the possible location of the monster to the number 1 800 99910 Thank you for your cooperation in advance. People in the restaurant, who were earing the announcement, stand there frozen. The music comes back on again. Ilka is sniffing a table with food remains on it. Suddenly one of the windows of the restaurant breaks and we PAN to reveal a brave man who threw the chair into the window. At this moment the other window breaks as well. Ilka growls, stepping forward. The screams prevail again. People flood to the sides of restaurant. (CONTINUED)

A MAN jumps outside, through the broken window and screams from outside. MAN Pass me the children Two men grab children and slowly move toward the window. Ilka hits the table she was sniffing and it flies into the wall, passing them. The cries get more intense. These men step back. Ilka stops for a moment. Turns to the table next to her and, grabbing a left out hamburger, eats it. She seems to like it. Behind the counter Employee 1 is holding the phone to her ear, saying something in panic. Ilka looks for more hamburgers. Spotting another one on the nearby table, she heads there, grabs and eats it. Then she looks at the other table. And walks up to it, opening a safe way to the exit. People immediately flood in the direction of the door and the windows that are in safe distance from Ilka now. At once a jam is formed, where no one wants to compromise. They scream and fight, rush each other, panic. But Ilka doesnt mind all this movement. She instead is eating the hamburgers from the tables. She eats the hamburgers, pizza left overs, even bottles of juice, soda cans. Her eyes have sorrow in them now. They are not bright and vibrant as before. She just chews big hamburgers as if they are crackers. The fur around the wounds on her arm, back and the leg are bloody. They are still bleeding. Yet Ilka eats and, table after table approaches the counter. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS The COOK, a stout man in uniform is surrounded by Mrs. Limoge, Emplyee 1, Employee 2, Sanchez, and JAMAL, another worker in uniform.

We wont manage. Its too close. JAMAL Yeah thats right. And what about the women, lets say you can run. But if they cant what are you going to do. SANCHEZ You know what! Sanchez, grabs the large saucepan with boiling CHILLY SOUP from the stove SANCHEZ (CONT) You think Im scared ha? Hell no. Its not about my ass. Heroism is this. He starts walking toward the curtains with the saucepan in his hands. COOK What are you doing, come back MRS LIMOGE Guys stop that. Think calm OK? Sanchez, moves the curtains slowly, REVEALING Ilka, who is enjoying the French rice from the big metal container. Sanchez tip toes behind the counter. He hides. Positions himself, grabs the saucepan tight and while immediately rising - throws the saucepan at Ilka. The chilly soup splashes all over Ilkas belly while the saucepan hits Ilkas shoulder and falls to the ground. Employee 1, followed by Emplyee 2 and Mrs. Limoge manage to sneak out and run toward the entrance. Momentarily Ilka reaches over and grabbing Sanchezs neck throws him straight at the window. Sanchez passes through the broken window and lands on the pavement, rolling over the sidewalk. The Cook and Jamal, who were about to run, retreat to the kitchen. Ilka growls again and now real aggressively starts to knock everything out. She turns the dining hall upside down. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT - MEANWHILE The light from the helicopter is projected at the restaurant entrance. Another projector light travels through the scene , revealing from HIGH ABOVE - military cars streaming to the restaurant. As they reach it and stop, soldiers flood out from them and surround the place. We hear the messages sent to the people through a loud speaker SPEAKER Ladies and gentlemen, do not remain in your place, leave the area immediately. Staying close to this area is extremely dangerous. Attention please...the area is surrounded by armed forced and everyone is being evacuated. Please, for your own safety, come out to a visible place so that officers can see you. If you are unable to leave your current place, make signals by switching a light on and off or make a sound three times in a row. (CONTINUED)

We see rivers of people running away from the surrounded area. More and more military cars arrive. Soldiers flood into this area from every possible corner of the block. END OF ANIMATION: CUT TO: INT. HOSPITAL - ZAROS ROOM Zaro is alone in his room, sleeping. On the table next to his bed, there is a vase with fresh flowers in it. Zaro opens his eyes. Looks around. Tries to understand why hes here. Then notices a piece of paper lying on the table next to the vase. He seats up in his bed. Grabs the paper. JULIA (V.O.) Dear Zaro. If you are reading this paper and I am not around - its because you never know where life will take you. I remember you. And I saw you lying here on the bed in the hospital, where I work as a nurse. Sorry, that I was overcurious but I found a paper lying on the floor and I read it. After those lines, I stopped to let that music echo inside me. And I wondered how you could feel so close to me after just talking to me for a few minutes. No man has ever devoted songs to me. I dont know, maybe because their eyes are programmed to notice only body. A wide smile appears on Zaros face. JULIA (V.O.) (CONT) But you seem different. I dont know. Maybe I am wrong. Zaro looks extremely happy, as he looks up into the ceiling. CUT TO: INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MEANWHILE ANIMATED: The cook and Jamal are hammering the door with axes. Rivers of sweat are running down their foreheads. Their shirts are soaked in sweat. The noise of Ilka turning the dining room upside down is much louder. No wonder why Ilka, cant hear the cook and Jamal breaking the door. The axes hammer the door, around the lock area. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - DINING AREA MEANWHILE Inside the dining area Ilka continues breaking around. INTERCUTS BETWEEN ILKA AND THE TWO More and more axe cuts are made on the door. Ilka is now getting real close to the curtains, still turning things upside down. On the door surface , as Cook and Jamal keep hammering a frame is being cut around the door lock. Ilka, is knocking things off: -Hot dogs flood onto the floor. -Donuts and candy bars fly around. and messing
The frame around the lock is mostly cut. They keep hammering. Ilka punches a big metal container. It turns over melted cheese pours down on the floor. Ilka sniffs and stops. She puts her finger under the stream of pouring cheese. Then tastes it. She likes it. Ilka grabs the entire container and raising in the air pours the cheese into her mouth. (CONTINUED)

The cook and Jamal make final swings and drop the axes. Then knock the door open. Ilka hears this noise. Her eyes roll around. She raises her head. Drops the cheese container to the side, walks toward the curtain and sticks her head into the kitchen. Ilkas POV: in the kitchen there are many containers of food and various kitchen utensils out there. And there is the open door at the end of it. No one is in there. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT The restaurant is completely isolated and surrounded by armed forces. Lines of soldiers are knelt down under the windows. More and more soldiers join them. Slightly far from the restaurant, Mrs. Limoge, the cook, employee 1, employee 2, and Sanches, along with other people from the restaurant are being moved away by the soldiers toward the ambulance van, standing in a distance. Through the rows of soldiers we can see as Mrs. Limoge suddenly stops and grabs her head in a state of terror. She turns back and pushing everyone on her way runs back toward the restaurant. SOLDIER JOHNY tries to hold her, but she wont get caught. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MEANWHILE Ilka, standing in the empty kitchen is looking around, touching things, tasting whatever that she sees. Suddenly metal dishes COLLAPSE behind the closed door not far from the open back door. Ilka turns to the door. The door slowly SCREECHES open, REVEALING Sandras curiously observing eyes shining from inside. Ilka RECOGNIZES Sandras smiling face and freezes. Sandra is smiling back. Hypnotized by what she sees Ilka makes short and slow steps toward the door without blinking even for a second. (CONTINUED)

Suddenly Mrs. Limoge TURNS UP in the back door with her eyes full of fear as she faces Ilka. But she is searching for something. She notices the wide open door, revealing Sandra seated on a pile of saucepans, frying pans and other kitchen utensils. They all pause. Look into each others eyes. Mrs. Limoge suddenly runs to the door and hugs Sandra, to protect. Ilka makes a step forward,then another, still in a state of trance. Mrs. Limoge walks backwards, pressing Sandra to her chest. Sandra turns her head to observe Ilkas big yet still cute eyes. Those eyes she most surely recognizes, she was right-its her. SANDRA Kuku She giggles, while her mother is trying to turn her head away from Ilka. SANDRA (CONT) Kuku...kuku...mom its kuku. MRS LIMOGE Honey, dont look at it. Ilka is walking forward Mrs. Limoge is walking with Sandra. Ilka approaches more. Retreating farther, Mrs. Limoge knocks against the kitchen counter that stops her. Her eyes fill with more fear and terror.
75. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT - MEANWHILE The commander is giving orders SHOUTING. Soldier Johny that failed to hold Mrs. Limoge is standing behind him nervous and acting hesitant about saying something... COMMANDER All groups get ready for a storm. Near the restaurant, soldiers position for a start up. Suddenly, Soldier Johny jumps in... SOLDIER JOHNY (to the commander) Sir, I...I...I am sorry. But.but..we cant storm-there are people inside. COMMANDER Where were your eyes, soldier, when everyone was being evacuated? Keep them eyes on the job instead of ladies. SOLDIER JOHNY Sir, I did see the evacuation take place. But...how to say. COMMANDER Quickly now, what are you doing, making a proposal to your sweetheart, or what?. This aint a date boy. Let us do the job. SOLDIER JOHNY Sir, a woman run back into the restaurant. The commander turns to speak into his walkie-talkie, leaving the ashamed Soldier Johny stay there, with his chin down on his chest. COMMANDER (CONT) Attention. Storm is canceled. Storm is canceled. There are people inside. Unit one-you go in and take care of the situation. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MEANWHILE Mrs. Limoge, leaning against the counter, has Sandra in one arm. The other hand is slowly moving toward the knife lying next to them on the counter. She doesnt move her head. Only with the corner of the eyes she tries to see where her hand is traveling. Ilka is really close as she makes small steps forward. Sandra, who has stuck her head out from under her mothers arm is fearless. Instead she keeps smiling with positive confidence. She spots a radio player on the wall and tries to reach it with her pointing finger. Yet her mother holds her even tighter as Ilka makes another step forward. Sandras finger travels back. She tries to reach again. Ilka makes another step. Now its close enough to scare to death Mrs. Limoge. Mrs. Limoge quickly grabs the knife and stretches in front of her, pointing at Ilkas face, SCREAMING with hate and fear. MRS LIMOGE Stay away from us. Stay away. Ilkas eyes turn furious. She GROWLS at Mrs. Limoge. At this moment Sandras finger manages to HIT the button on the radio and the beautiful CLASSICAL MUSIC that we heard from a previous scene fills the kitchen. (CONTINUED)

Ilkas eyes immediately fill with sorrow and become nostalgic, childish and extremely kind. Noticing this, Mrs. Limoge, drops the knife, with her hand still stretched out in the air. She lets out tears of happiness. Sandra frees herself from Mrs. Limoges arms and with the same enthusiasm stands there in between Mrs. Limoge and Ilka, staring at the monster whoes eyes are wet. Ilka is looking down at Sandra. While Sandra is smiling back at Ilka. Mrs. Limoge is shocked. SANDRA Kuku. A moment. SANDRA (CONT) I knew it was you. Ilka takes her finger to Sandras face. The huge finger slides against Sandras soft and small chick. Sandra grabs the finger in return and presses it against her face with love. SANDRA (CONT) (contd) I knew you would come back. I knew it. Suddenly from behind the curtains voices of soldiers are heard. SOLDIER A (O.S.) Move it, move it. S0LDIER B (O.S.) Its back in the kitchen. We hear noise of the walkie talkie as commands are delivered to the soldiers. Sandra looks at her mother SANDRA We should hide her, they will kill her.

MRS LIMOGE Babe... SANDRA Mom, please, Ilka, is not noticing these changes. She keeps listening to the music, while two drops of tear run down her eyes. Sandra, still holding Ilkas finger takes her to a metal door inside the floor. Mrs. Limoge remains in her place, still shocked and unable to digest what she sees. Sandra and Ilka are standing hand in hand above the door that is cut inside the floor. There is a handle on the door.Sandra squats, grabs it and with all her strength tries to raise it. But its too heavy. And at this moments Mrs. Limoges helping hand grabs the handle and opens the door, REVEALING a stairway going down to a deep basement. INT. "MCLOADS" - BASEMENT From down the basement we can see as Sandra gestures Ilka to move down. Instead Ilks is standing motionless above the hole in the floor. A tear flies down from Ilkas eyes straight onto the camera getting bigger and bigger as it moves closer and turns the screen black as it lands. CUT TO: INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MOMENTS LATER The curtains in the kitchen move aside and two gun muzzles stick out. Then the soldiers appear. Spotting Mrs. Limoge and Sandra standing there alone. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MOMENTS LATER Mrs. Limoge is walking, holding Sandra up against her chest. A soldier is walking behind her, hands on his gun. Behind them remains the restaurant with smoke coming out of the windows.
79. INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MEANWHILE Grenades are smoking on the floor, turning the kitchen into a mist through which soldiers with gas masks are walking around with guns. SOLDIER C walks up to the closet, opens it, some kitchen utensils flood out, but there is no one in there. He keeps moving around, comes and stands next to the carpet that covers the door in the floor. Other soldiers who have been searching through the kitchen look at each other and move their heads in a negative signal. EXT. "MCLOADS" FASTFOOD RESTAURANT - MEANWHILE The commander is speaking angrily to Mrs. Limoge who is seating on a chair circled by men in military uniform. On her lap is seating Sandra. COMMANDER What do you mean, you dont know. It couldnt run away. You were the last one to see it. MRS LIMOGE Look, if you were as scared as I was, youd definitely not remember where it went. All I cared was how to save my child. COMMANDER (forced politeness) Look, madam. Its like this. This area is surrounded by armed forces. It couldnt run away. And it didnt order a helicopter either. So there is no way to look for it out here. Its inside there. You have to let me know what you know. MRS LIMOGE I am too scared to think now. Just take us to a safer place. Set up the explosives. Were blowing up the place. Mrs. Limoge, makes gestures nervously. Sandra holds tight on her mothers clothes, her face still berried in her neck. In a distance soldiers carry boxes of explosives in the direction of the restaurant. Mrs. Limoge opens her mouth, about to say something, but Sandra immediately straightens her head to stare into her mothers eyes with so much sorrow in them. Mrs. Limoge cant make a sound. COMMANDER (contd) Yes mam? MRS LIMOGE Uhh, ..uhh. nothing. COMMANDER Ready? In ten, nine, eight, the soldiers are all running away. There is no one left around the restaurant. COMMANDER (CONT) Five, four, three, MRS LIMOGE Wait. Wait. I think I know where it could be. COMMANDER And where would that be? she poses for a moment, while Sandra stares at her... MRS LIMOGE In the basement

Sandra, on hearing her mother spy on Ilka, jumps off her lap and runs toward the restaurant. SANDRA No, you wont hurt my mouse. SOLDIER D runs behind her and grabs her arm, pulling her back. SANDRA (CONT) (crying) No, no, leave me alone. The soldier keeps pulling her by the hand. SANDRA (CONT) No, maaaaa..ma COMMANDER (with a satisfied look on his face ) Unit 4, attention... INT. "MCLOADS" FAST FOOD RESTAURANT - KITCHEN - MOMENTS LATER We truck toward the door in the floor, on which a ticking bomb is counting down. Classical music plays loudly. As we reach the door, the bomb goes off, throwing the door away, revealing the stairway down to the basement. Soldiers flood into the kitchen from every corner and tower above the basement. A little mouse- Little Ilka, is sniffing the steps and moving around the basement stairway. A soldier puts his palm on the step and Little Ilka gets on it. The soldier raises his palm up in the air and all the soldiers move close on the mouse amazed with their mouths open. Little Ilka moves around the palm, looks down on the floor, trying to find a way out. The soldier lowers his palm and puts Ilka down on the floor. The walkie talkie on his belt is making noises through which we hear... COMMANDER (O.S) Whats going on, unit 4, report to me, hello, attention...morons... We follow Ilka travel through the kitchen back door to the yard and through the yard to the front of the restaurant. Then she travels through hundreds of soldier shoes into the road. HOSPITAL The streets living its daily routine- people passing by, cars stopping at red lights. A taxi pulls up by the sidewalk. Julia rushes out of it and runs toward the hospital. INT. HOSPITAL - CORRIDOR Julia is running along the corridor until she reaches the glass window of Zaros room to discover Zaros missing. She slows down. INT. HOSPITAL - ZAROS ROOM The door opens slowly revealing Julia, who is breathing heavily and looks disappointed. She enters. Pauses, observing the empty room. Then spotting the paper on the table, walks up to it. The note is lying there as if no one has touched it. She takes it, unfolds, looks at her own writing and then crumples it inside her fist. She touches the flowers in the vase with her finger softly with a sad expression on her face. CUT TO: Julia is seating on the bed, gazing away.
84. INT. HOSPITAL - HALLWAY Julia, now dressed back in casual, is walking toward the exit. As she passes Marta, she doesnt even look her way. Marta sticks her head out in a surprise, but Julias serious and concerned look shuts her down. She sits back. EXT. HOSPITAL - EVENING - MOMENTS LATER Julia walks out of the hospital. She stops and looks afar. EXT. STREET # 2- EVENING - LATER Julia is wondering through the crowd in the street with her hand motionlessly resting on her shoulder bag. Her shoulders are down, her walking is weak, she is useless, she is sad. EXT. STREET # 3 - EVENING - LATER Julia is crossing another street without looking at the cars. INT. SUBWAY -LATER Julia is standing there in the crowded wagon, totally desperate. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - ROUND TABLE CAHMBER ANIMATED: Superego, neighbored by Ego from one side and the generals from the other is leaning on the table, while holding the mouse up above the table. Little Ilka is hanging upside down with her tale squeezed in between Superegos two fingers. SUPEREGO Can anyone explain to me what is going on? All the members of the chamber that are seating around the table sit still like stones. They all look at a single point-the center of the table. SUPEREGO (CONT) What is this? SUPEREGO (CONT) (contd) You ruined half of the city to bring me back this? Superego lets his fingers free. Little Ilka hits the table. Nobody moves. Ilka stirs and turning on her feet travels on the table, approaching the parliament members who lean back in disgust and fear as she passes them. As Ilka nears a FEMALE POLITICIAN, she panics... FEMALE POLITICIAN Someone get it out of the table, please. A volunteer braveheart from the next chair grabs Ilkas tail and drops her on the floor. SUPEREGO (O.S.) Jesus Christ, EGO, say something. What are we going to do. Does anybody understand what just happened? Ilka is now moving through the rug on the floor- heading toward the door, which opens up as she gets close, REVEALING the Chairmans shoes who rushes in. Ilka avoids being stepped on and keeps on moving farther down the hall. CHAIRMAN Gentlemen, we are in trouble. Id with a group of his supporters have broken into the memory reservoir due to the fact of the absence of armed forces at this location. Superego hits the table and jumps up, towering above the generals SUPEREGO Aaaaah, what the hell ! Ego jumps in to calm down EGO Wait, wait, lets be reasonable.

Superegos voice echoes from behind as Little Ilka moving on the floor finds a hole in another tube rising from the floor and climbs into it. The screen goes black CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - HALL OUTSIDE THE MEMORY RESERVOIR We are trucking toward these huge doors made out of nut wood. The doors are half open and there is a big broken metal lock lying on the floor nearby. We travel through the gap between the doors and... INT. PYRAMID - MEMORY RESERVOIR - PASSIVE MEMORY SECTION CONTINUOUS ...appear in a huge space: endless rows of shelves, that rise into the sky, stretch along and vanish far away. We TRUCK along to REVEAL Chico, and two other gangster rats, ZACK and BLACK, who wear thick framed sunglasses, extra large football shirts on top of which are shining their platinum necklaces with spinning wheels. Slightly afar Id is slowly walking with his astonished face raised up to the endlessly tall shelves. On the shelves there are millions of aquariums stacked up. Each aquarium is filled with a transparent liquid in which there is an object, figure, image. Some are animated, some are real. The aquarium liquids have different coloring. One aquarium is filled with sky blue liquid and there is only a ladder resting against the glass. In another aquarium there is a scene of family dinner where the objects move and the decorations are made like on the theater stage. ID Wow. What a place. You should have brought me here before. Zack walks up to a shelf that has a SIGN -1986- standing in front of the shelf On Zacks eye level there is an aquarium in which one year old Zaro is being caressed by his father while enjoying the comfort if his mothers arms. Above it - in another aquarium, Zaro is lying face down on the floor, trying to crawl. Above it - babe Zaro is crying with a wide open mouthREVEALING a pair of little teeth coming out of the gum. Above it - Zaro is trying to stand, holding on the edge of the chair, but he falls, turning the chair over. Above it - Zaros mother is bathing Zaro as he cries, seating in shampoo bubbles. Zack lowers his sunglasses on the tip of his nose. ZACK Oh boy, look at that. BLACK Hey Zack, walk over here. Look at this. Zack turns and walks toward Black Slightly afar Black is standing in front of an aquarium with FLOATING music notes in it. On the aquarium glass there are images of -play-, -rewind-, -forward- buttons. Black hits the rewind button and the classical music weve heard previously starts. The notes in the aquarium float around in unison - dancing. We RISE to the upper aquarium REVEALING 4 year old Zaro, lying on the aquarium bottom with his ear pressed against the glass - enjoying the music from downstairs. Moving upper we see 4 year old Zaro holding a violin for the first time.

We continue moving higher -more quickly now - passing aquariums with. -4 yaer old Zaro playing the violin in HIS BEDROOM. - 4 year old Zaro playing the violin in CLASS. His instructor stops him to criticize. - 4 year old Zaro playing the violin at home, while his mother and father are watching him. - 4 year old Zaro playing in CLASS. His instructor stops him again. Zaro throws the violin away and walks off. - 6 year old Zaro practicing at home. - 8 year old Zaro playing on the stage in a large CONCERT HALL flooded with people. He finishes his play. People dance. They smoke. He knocks against bottles as he passes through the crowd, looses his balance, but regains it and WALKS through a door and moves ALONG a dark corridor that ends with another door that leads to a brightly lit kitchen. There all alone is standing Sharon, a full chested blond with a can of beer in her hand. Id stops at the aquarium in which Sanchez is standing behind the counter and observing hatefully as Britney is talking with Zaro. ID (CONT) He couldnt win her heart, so he spied on her to the boss that she discriminates customers and they fired her. I never saw her again. A beat ID (CONT) (contd) One day, as I got tired of what I was doing, because I really wasnt doing well... Id coughs and continues with a much kinder, confessional style - revealing his inner weakness and pain. ID (CONT) (contd) The girls I took out were kind of getting excited at the beginning, and then this big gap was forming between us, when we would start discussing our likes and dislikes. He stands there lost in his thoughts, not aware of where he is and why he is there. People dont pay attention to him. They just pass and hit him in the shoulders. And getting pushed from place to place, he appears near a bus stop right at the moment when the bus screeches to a halt. He stands facing the open doors, but doesnt move. The bus driver, DRIVER JOE looks down on him. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - MEMORY RESERVOIR - ACTIVE MEMORY SECTION MEANWHILE ANIMATED: Id walks with a piece of cloth tied on top of his eyes. Chico is giving him directions. CHICO You can stop now. Id stops. CHICO (CONT) Open your eyes. Id does. Its a small circle room with LSD screens all over the walls. There is a large LCD monitor in front of him. On it, in ZAROs POV: Driver Joe is looking down on him from the bus. Another large monitor hangs next to it, yet it is TURNED OFF. We can see and hear from the active screen as DRIVER JOE asks DRIVER JOE Son, whats wrong? Zaros voice echoes loudly. ZARO (0.S.) (hypnotized) I dont know. DRIVER JOE Do you feel bad?

ZARO (0.S.) I dont know. Id is facing the monitor, without a clue to what is going on. Chico walks up to the dark monitor. CHICO (to Id) You want to know why you feel bad, and wasted? Tired of everything and useless? All that is in this. This dark and black picture. This monitor is dark because it was made to be dark. You lost the desire to move forward, because you were made to forget what gave you power to move. He who was scared of failure berried his head in the sand to not see and to not face anymore what could make him feel useless again. But not you. You would make desperate speeches, but not give up. Because you were born to fight and run. Because you are the engine of this place. And engine never says no to gasoline. But EGO, that sneaky man that lost his battle with Superego finally used his secret weapon - the defense mechanism. Zaro keeps screaming without stopping. INT. PYRAMID - MEMORY RESERVOIR - ACTIVE MEMO SECTION MEANWHILE ANIMATED: As Id screams the air vibrates at such an intense rate that the walls shake and pass on the wave. We TRUCK with the wave. INT. PYRAMID - MEMORY RESERVOIR - PASSIVE MEMORY SECTION CONTINUOUS The shelves start shaking as the wave reaches them and passes on. They shake terribly and aquariums start to fall. A shelf collapses on another one, sipping aquariums down. The other shelf falls on another one. Shelves are turning over one after another. Like a heavy shower aquariums are flying down and breaking on the floor. The liquids are splashing out. END OF ANIMATION: EXT. CROWDED STREET - EVENING - MEANWHILE Zaro, all of a sudden, starts running into the dense crowd. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - MEMORY RESERVOIR - PASSIVE MEMORY SECTION MEANWHILE ANIMATED: The entire memory reservoir is flooded like a river. EXT. CROWDED STREET - EVENING - MEANWHILE Zaro keeps streaming like a bullet with his eyes full of fire and energy. CUT TO: INT. PYRAMID - STAIRWAY OUTSIDE THE MEMORY RESERVOIR ANIMATED: The flooded river, full of the objects we have seen, and millions more is streaming down the stairway. EXT. PYRAMID - MEANWHILE The pyramid is standing in the middle of the Brain city, as the water fills through its floors. Through the glass windows its visible that the water fills it up more and more. The windows start cracking, and finally EXPLODE as massive water fountains SHOOT into all four directions. EXT. ANIME AVENUE Huge rivers of water HIT the city pavement and slide forward, CLEANING UP everything on their way. Hundreds of people are RACING on the sidewalk. Cars are unable to drive, because of the people jam. Drivers leave their cars and run with the people. Meanwhile an old man who is hardly pulling his shopping chart down the road, unaware of anything. He turns to see whats happening as people keep streaming by, hitting his chart. And on seeing the approaching wave, the old man immediately turns to run better than a track athlete, outrunning everyone. He starts jumping on top of cars, now jumping from car to car. But the wave REACHES and WIPES the cars one after another, FLOODING OVER the old man, who was high up in the air - FLYING to a distant car. The wave covers the streaming people and moves forward. DOWN the street there are more and more people trying to save themselves. Huge masses are rushing through the street. -Some people are climbing on the roofs of buses, trucks. -Some are running to shops, which are already congested with people. (CONTINUED)

An expensive jewelry shop doors are locked while people are knocking and begging to let them in, facing the cold facial expression of the shop attendant, standing behind the glass window, proud of her status and enjoying the inhuman emptiness of her shop. Some people are climbing up a tree. INT. HOUSE - ROOM Four teenagers are glued to the large LCD monitor as their are playing a PlayStation Game on SURFING. Through the window behind them its visible as the flood passes by, with the cars floating on the window level. The teenagers keep playing without any reaction. A second later they woosh pan their heads toward the window, SCREAMING "What???" END OF ANIMATION: EXT. CROWDED STREET - SUNSET Zaro is now running down another street. In far distance, from behind the buildings that are towering over the street the hospital building with the "HOSPITAL" red sign is visible. EXT. BARIN CITY - SUNSET ANIMATED: From high above the city looks like a maze, where the flood is chasing the masses of people who are running in all directions. EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING - ROOF - MEANWHILE The roof doors FLY OPEN as the four teenagers RUSH OUT dressed in surfing outfits, each holding a surf board. They run to the EDGE of the building and JUMP DOWN into the flood river moving through the street. END OF ANIMATION:

EXT. PUBLIC SQUARE Julia is walking with the kind of saunter as if life has lost the meaning. People are rushing by: a romantic couple passes laughing, women with flower bouquets are walking toward her. Men, dressed in suits and ties with briefcases in their hands, are passing by. Some look at beautiful but sad Julia, and keep going. Julia reaches an add board that is illuminated from inside the glass frame. On it a funny looking guy with a headphone and some sensors attanched to his body is seated in front of the computer. Behind him stands a tall girl, wearing a short skirt. She has red curly hair that spreads around in a shape of a sphere. She wears glasses. The text reads as: Date me Online, with SenseYouAllFine. Julia looks away from the board and keeps walking in the same careless attitude. Slightly afar a young girl and a man are giving away free newspapers. People are rushing by: some are taking, some arent. As Julia reaches them, she is offered one. She looks down on it, with no intention to raise her hand to grab it, but as she notices a picture of the just seen add board, she grabs it. On the title page there is the add picture next to which dozens of young people are grouped by the add board protesting with signs that say "STOP IT", "REAL for the REAL", "LIVE is ALIVE", "ONLINE is OVER THE LINE". A short column next to the picture reads as: research and analysis show that young people nowadays tend to form relationships online more often than by physical communication. There are many ladies (some we have seen in the aquariums) swimming with them in the water. They all look happy. INT. PYRAMID - CINEMA The cinema is empty. Until the middle rows the chairs are under the water. Where the water ends, is seating EGO, half under water and with his arm resting on the shoulder of a beautiful lady in a bikini. Ego looks relaxed. Suddenly the projector spinning wheel sound starts and the on the screen APPEARS Superego, resisting a hot girls tempting flirting. They are in a flooded library with books floating around them. While Superego is trying to hold her hands that are reaching to caress his long beard, he notices THE BIBLE floating by. He immediately lets off her hands and grabs the book. Now he is holding the book to cover her face, to not see those big boobs, moving from side to as she is gently and persistently trying to seduce him. SUPEREGO No, go away, dont, no. Jesus. As Ego is watching this scene on the screen with a smile, he turns to the camera and speaks EGO Now, thats how we live up in here. Yet another hurricane passed through our hometown. CGI: Now inside Julias head an ANIMATED old street lamp lights up illuminating ANIMATED Julias Brain City that looks like Old Prague, with many towers and Gothic style buildings. Over Julias Brain City appears Julias Id, who moves down into the frame while flying with a parachute. Seconds later, inside Zaros head ID rises into the frame elevating higher and higher on a wooden self-made bird, whose wings are moving as long as Chico, Black and Zack are pushing the pump on the tail. ID and Julias id move close to the touching point of the heads and hug each other. Meanwhile Chico and his gang are getting tired. CHICO Come on man, I am out of energy. I need a break. Black and Zack are about to fall down, but they dont mumble a single word. ID (interrupting his kiss) Keep it going Chico. For Gods sake, dont ruin the moment. Chico and his gang, keep pumping and pumping, while ID and Julias ID are enjoying their intimacy. Then, all of a sudden, Chico crashes down exhausted. So do the other two.
