Minimum required input data columns are highlighted in RED and at lease one EIRP value is required. Other data columns are optional. * Either CW C/N or CW Eb/No must be specified and either Threshold C/N or Threshold Eb/No must be specified.
Compute Carrier Bandwidths & Center Frequencies

The Compute Carrier Bandwidths & Center Frequencies button can be used to compute the allocated bandwidths and center frequencies of carriers listed. Center frequencies are computed so that carriers are aligned adjacent to each other starting with the carrier in the first row and traversing down the list until a row with no info rate is encountered. No empty rows between carriers are allowed.

Minimum required data columns for defining non-registerd ESAs are highlighted in RED. Other data columns are optional.

Carriers Worksheet Notes - Lease and Service Order Number specifications are optional - Customers must only change/specify attributes in the INPUT columns of the worksheet - The Flight and Transponder specifications should not be modified, if filled in by OLM - The Service Type is a free-form description of the service (e.g., DVB, GXS, IDR, IBS, VSAT, DIG) - Reed-Solomon Coding should be in the format of "K/N" (e.g, 201/219, 235/255) - If specified, Coding should reflect a value such as TPC, Viterbi, Sequential, TCM, LDPC, etc. - Filter Roll-Off Factor, if specified, is used to compute Allocated Bandwidth as: Occupied BW * (1+rolloff factor) - To specifiy desired downlink EIRP at beam-edge for a carrier, specify the value in the INPUT Downlink EIRP @ BE column - The TX ESA and RX ESAs must reference either ESAs already registered with Intelsat or ESAs listed in the ESAs worksheet - For multiple ESAs under RX ESAs, the list of ESAs should be comma delimited. - The CALCULATED fields are filled in via OLM only for existing carriers in the Intelsat system - C/N performance specifications take precedence over Eb/No performance specifications - The Lease Start Edge and Lease End Edge are the starting and ending frequencies of the lease in MHz - these must be specified. - When adding more lines to the Carriers worksheet, lines should be inserted between the Lease Start Edge and Lease End Edge rows. ESAs Worksheet Notes - ESA ID should not exceed 8 alphanumeric characters - Portability should reflect a value such as Fixed, Transportable, Maritime, etc. General Notes on Carriers and ESAs Worksheets - Columns can be rearranged in any order and hidden, if need be. - Column header information can be modified, if need be. - Columns should never be deleted.
