Font Introduction
Friz Quadrata is a glyphic serif typeface designed by Ernst Friz and Victor Caruso in 1973. Its strong, classic look has been used by a range of institutions and entities. For example, Friz Quadrata can be seen in University of Wisconsin - Madison and University of Arizons school logos. I choose to utilize this typeface in my design because of two reasons. Firstly, I want to have consistent typeface in my alphabet compared to the orginal design of League of Legends logo, which aslo uses a modified version of Friz Quadrata. Secondly, the typeface looks classic and strong in bold, and fits well on the design of poker cards.

Intended Audience
The intended audience of this alphabet are current League of Legends players, and people who are interested in League of Legends and other similar games. This poster can also provide informaiton to those people who dont have much knowledge of League of Legends.

Design Message
League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena video game. My poster aims at summarizing 26 popular champions that are picked by players this season. I also utilize the idea of poker cards and create a different card for each champion, whose category is represented by the four suites (clubs, diamond, heart and spades). The reason behind is that I want to communicate the message to my audience that playing League of Legends is similar to playing cards, which involves careful calculation based on what you have in hand, prediction of opponents cards, and most interestly, your luck.
