Board WALU Function Monitors the alarms generated. Configuration Rules Only one WALU board is configured in each subrack. In the TDM networking or ATM 2M networking, two WCKI boards working in active/standby mode are configured in the basic subrack
WCKI
Obtains the clock signal. Exchanges data between the SAU and the HDU, and data between the basic subrack and the extended subrack in the SAU. The WHSC is used for intra-board communication in the service subrack. Exchanges data between the WSMU and the BAM. Adds or deletes the service subrack, loads data to the boards in the service subrack, or deletes boards from the service subrack based on the command sent from the BAM. Processes TDM signaling messages over the MTP1/MTP2 layer, and then sends the processed messages to the WCSU boards. Processes ATM 2M signaling messages, and then sends the processed messages to the WEAM boards.
WHSC
Two WHSC boards working in active/standby mode are configured in each subrack.
WSIU
Two WSIU boards working in active/standby mode are configured in each subrack. Two WSMU boards working in active/standby mode are configured in each subrack.
WSMU
WEPI
The WEPI boards must be configured in pairs. Each pair of WEPI boards work in active/standby mode.

Dispatches the IP signaling messages In the IP networking, two WBFI boards (working in active/standby mode) to the WBSG boards. and two WIFM boards (working in active/standby mode) are configured. Processes IP signaling messages over the M3UA layer and ATM signaling messages over the MTP3b layer, and then sends the processed messages to the WCCU boards. The number of WBSG boards is half of the number of WCCU boards. At least two WBSG boards working in load-sharing mode must be configured.
