Classroom/Faculty Features: Kindergarten Lisa Yankanich This was a cross-curricular activity learning about apples. Here are the subjects that were covered: Math: 1:1 Correspondence/Counting Social Studies Science Reading Smilebox Digital scrapbooks sent home to parents periodically Second grade Hannah Ruckstuhl Me On The Map project social studies project This project tied science and social studies together. Students created a flipbook about themselves. They were especially amazed to learn about Archbishop Carroll being from Upper Marlboro. AR Program/Book Fair Sharon Bookwalter Accelerated Reader Program Now, students have access to all quizzes because it is web-based. Junior high students have already started. Passwords: all students have the same one and can change it. READ until they change it. Its $45 to $50 a table. 29 of 71 tables have been sold. Childrens Raffle Table -- Kids take a $.25 a ticket. Over 100 different prizes donated. Sign committee chair needed. Its done online. 2 Enrollment, re-enrollment 3 Tuition collection SCANTRON Weve had the baseline test. Release results on conference day as requested by Archdiocese. General session on Conference Day: (once every 15 minutes on Conference Day) * Listen to presentation about what to look for on SCANTRON, so you can use 10 minute schedule for conference about general concerns.
