RENT AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made on the 13th day of June 2016, between Mr s.
.(hereinafter called the Landlord which term shall include their legal
heirs, successors and assigns) of the one part and Mrs. .. ( hereinafter
called the Tenant which term shall include their legal heirs, successors and assigns)
of the other part.
WHEREAS the Landlord is the exclusive owner of the property <house
address> more fully described in the schedule here under and is desirous of letting
out the said property on hire.
WHEREAS the Tenant approached the Landlord to take the said property on
rental basis from the Landlord for a period of 24 months upon the term and
conditions hereinafter mentioned.
NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Tenant shall pay consideration of a monthly rent of Rs. 5000 to the
Landlord by the 5th day of every following month for taking on rent the said
property consisting of < DETAILS eg one bedroom with attached
bathroom, one kitchen, one hall with bathroom , etc >
2. That the said property is for residential use of the Tenant and his family for a
period of 24 months commencing from June 12, 2016 and expiring on June
12, 2018.
3. That the Tenant agrees to pay the rents regularly and punctually without any
delay or default.
4. That the Tenant shall at all times during the continuance of the tenancy keep
and maintain the house with all fittings , fixtures and furniture clean and tidy
free from dust and insured, whitewashed and colour wash once in a year.
5. That the Tenant shall pay all taxes, rates and impositions which are now been
paid by the Landlord including any taxes imposed on the said premises by the
Government, Municipal Corporations or any other authority.
6. That the Tenant shall permit the Landlord, his servants and agents at all
reasonable hours to enter into the property, to inspect the condition or to
leave notice all defects to be repaired.
7. That the Tenant shall the said term use and occupy the said premises as a
private dwelling house and agrees not to sublet or store any inflammable or
explosive articles or do any business whether legal or illegal in the said
premises.
8. That on the expiry or determination of the said period of tenancy, the Tenant
agrees to deliver to the Landlord peaceful and vacant possession of the
premises.
9. That the Tenant agrees not to make any structural additions or alterations
therein without the prior written consent of the Landlord.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said Lessor and the said Lessee have put their
respective signatures hereunder the day, month and year first above written.
