minister. The current president of Italy is Sergio
Mattarella. The current prime minister is Matteo Renzi. A
unitary parliamentary republic is a type of republic that
runs under a unitary and parliamentary government
system.

Located in southern Europe, Italy is a peninsula extending
into the Mediterranean sea.
Italy borders France to the west, Switzerland and Australia

styles. These cooking practices were passed down from
generation to generation. They contributed to the
diversity of Italian food.
