Design Beams - Egyptian Code

This document provides design calculations for rectangular and flanged beam sections subjected to bending and shear/torsion. For a rectangular section with fixed depth, calculations are shown to check bending capacity, tension and compression reinforcement sizing, shear capacity, and stirrup sizing. Input and output values are provided. Similarly, calculations are provided for a flanged T-section with free depth subjected to bending. Checks are performed for bending capacity, reinforcement sizing, shear capacity and stirrup sizing. Input and output values are also shown. The document demonstrates the step-by-step design process for reinforced concrete beams.
