DECLARATION OF PLAINTIFF James Alan Bush, plaintiff in the above-captioned matter, hereby declares the following: 1. My name is James Alan Bush. I am over 18 years of age. I reside at 1211 East Santa Clara Avenue #4, in San Jose, California. I am fully competent to make this declaration and I have personal knowledge of the facts stated in this declaration. To my knowledge, all of the facts stated in this declaration are true and correct. 2. I am the plaintiff in this matter, appearing in pro per. requirements of 50 U.S.C. App. 521(b) in support of the request for a default judgment in this matter. 3. I made a careful investigation of whether the defendant was in the military by seeking a certificate from the Adjutant General of the Army, the Chief of Naval Personnel, and from the Major General Commandant of the United States Marine Corps as authorized by 50 U.S.C. App. 582(a), (b), and the absence of any certificates indicate that the defendant did not serve in any military service. 4. As a result of my investigation, I state that the defendant is not in military service. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct, and that this declaration was made on August 14 th, 2012, in San Jose, California.
