Hi, I'm Ryan North!  I'm a cartoonist and writer and I'm really tall and I can't draw.  For eleven years now I've been writing Dinosaur Comics!  They look... a little something... a'like this:

I've done lots of really fun crazy projects in the past (
<a href="http://btothef.tumblr.com" rel="nofollow"><strong>B to the F</strong></a> where I reviewed each page of the bonkers novelization of Back To The Future, <a href="http://www.hamletbook.com" rel="nofollow"><strong>To Be or Not To Be</strong></a> where I turned Hamlet into a choose-your-own-path adventure), and your support here is really supporting making THOSE happen as well.  The more patrons here, the more time I'll have for looking around, imagining something that's awesome and doesn't exist yet, and <em>making it happen</em>.<br>

Most of what I've created is online for free (with of course a few 
<a href="http://www.hamletbook.com" rel="nofollow"><strong>notable</strong></a> <a href="http://www.midasflesh.com" rel="nofollow"><strong>exceptions</strong></a>!), and I am a strong proponent of the "<strong>put it online and see what happens</strong>" school of creative endeavours.  I'm excited to see what the next steps will be!
