(And then of course people who are paid by day instead of hour--forfait jour--are in a weird situation in relationship to all this.) I'm for 35 hours and not 39, but I don't want anyone not familiar with France labor laws to think that they just ignored the change in hours.

It's made of two characters "together" and "feeling" and now I like calling empathy togtherfeeling. A Chinese friend of mine said that for him it also meant "resonance" (in like the physical sense, sound waves and such). And I like that too. It's fun exploring the kanji and why they're used the way they are. 💖

I tried to tell him, "no I'd like to know what to do for next time" but you know accent means foreign which means can't possibly live in France because everyone knows France is only for native born French people. Smfh...
