Fortes is jogging and working on strengthening. He is hoping to progress to activities in the next few days. Three batters after his seventh-inning single on Aug. 5, Fortes was pulled for a pinch-runner. Myers saw a foot specialist upon the team's return to Miami on July 14 and was wearing a boot on his left foot prior to the opener against the Mets on July 19.

According to manager Skip Schumaker, Myers will not be out for the season, but it's going to be "some time." (Last updated: July 26)
