Extremely well-organized with a fun party at the finish. Runners could wait inside the Century Center until the race start. The course is well-marked with lots of volunteers to be sure nobody got lost. The long-sleeve, quarter-zip shirt is among the best I've ever received. Plus everyone got a REALLY nice thermos. And Cape Girardeau has excellent restaurants for your post race meal. It's a fairly tough course, but has a 7 hour limit so everyone can finish.

"Great first year race - would recommend." (about: 2021)

Positives- the organization seems strong. Community support is awesome. Volunteers were the best, and enthusiastic. Traffic control was awesome. The race started in time. Post race was good.

Room for improvement- add a couple more aid stations, especially from the beginning of the park on. Seems like there were long areas without stations, although I could be wrong. Also, add some bananas and gummy bears at the stations, and maybe some bars of types. The aid stations all had ample water and sports drink, but some food would help.

No criticism, just suggestions. Great race, just tweak it a bit. It is very hilly.
