On start of race, I drew attention dressed like for the Arctic - with long sleeves and long pants, both in black. My time was over 4 hrs as I was overheated and dehydrated. On finish line I was greeted by organizers and was given shorts and short sleeves top. Since than I finished at least 25 more marathons - but the lesson was lingering for a while.
