Before joining MTC, Hans was a program director for Salt Lake Community Action Program, where he worked with low-income communities to advocate for policies and resources to address economic inequality.

Hans received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Utah.
