Kanata Hongô, who plays Naoyuki Ando in the film, had also voiced Ando in Inuyashiki (2017).

This is the second time director Shinsuke Sato and actor Kanata Hongô had worked on a live-action adaptation of Hiroya Oku's manga. Sato and Hongo had previously worked on the Gantz films.
