Chris Stuckmann has been making film reviews and analysis' since the year 2011. When there is a movie that I anticipate watching, I normally go to his channel and see what he has to say. I'll start off by saying, he is probably the best online film critic I know of. I am now going to give the reasons on why he is better then JeremyJahns. Jeremy talks too fast, he's never clear on his opinion, and his rating system is confusing. Chris is the direct opposite. He expresses his thoughts very thoroughly and are still entertaining.

Chris Stuckmann is an aspiring film maker and one of the best movie reviewers I've found. So many youtube movie reviewers output their product completely unedited, so it is full of "ers" and "uhs". Chris edits his product quite professionally. And his reviews are quality without being spoilerish. It seems his preferences in film lean toward action and horror, and his reviews reflect that, but he also has quite a bit of variety. He also has a "Hilariocity" subset of reviews which stand for "hilarious atrocity". These reviews are spoilerish reviews of very bad films, but if I didn't want to see the film before watching his review, unbelievably I usually do afterwards. In conclusion, anybody who can grade both 1931's "City Lights" and "Deadpool" as A+ films and make a convincing argument in both cases is a national treasure.
I watch Stuckmann's reviews constantly. Every time I see the YouTube notification pop up saying he uploaded I click on it no matter what I'm doing. He has inspired me and got me interested in film and filmmaking. Great channel, been watching since 2017.

(sorry my grammar is terrible) This series has taught me so much about films and made me love films so much more. Through watching so many episodes of this youtube series I have learnt about what makes films flop and great.
Chris Stuckmann is a great reviewer perfect attitude sometimes a little cringe but nevertheless not over the top keeps episodes nice and short and for people who want a followup can watch a longer episode. Obviously its about something not everyone may agree with so some episodes you may disagree with but thats fine not everyone agrees on the same absolute thing.
Me Learning about movies through this taught me a lot about how everything pairs up when writing and making a movie. Through actors and themes with storys.

I really enjoy watching Chris' channel on YouTube. He gives his honest opinion and does a great job of breaking down his thought process and justifying his position. He is self aware about being emotionally bonded to a film even if it may not be a great film and has some great guests on the show to discuss film. If you haven't checked out some of his longer video essays(like hillariocity) they are a great watch. Keep up the good work Chris.

I first Subbed to Chris Stuckmanns channel around 2015-16. I believe the first Review that got me into his channel was A review of Captain America Civil War. Even before that I knew who he was but never really subscribed untill I saw that the movies he loved were also the movies that interested me.(mainly superhero genre). But Chris helped me watch more movies. Way past the superhero genre. His channel, is not only one of the best movie review channels out there, but one of the best YOUTUBE channels. His passion for movies is so fun to watch, from his Hilariocity Series to his In Depth movie reviews. I hope he sees this one day so he can see that how many fans he has

Chris's story and reasons behind his passion for film (along with his passion alone by itself) are amazing and he is one of my favorite people on YouTube. I will never watch or look at movies the same way again and he has been a gift to me for many years with his humor, commentary, analyses, and opinions. Check this guy out, and help him fund his new movie Shelby Oaks! I cannot wait to see what this man does the rest of his life in the film industry and highly respect, admire, and love him!

I like reviewers such as the Nostalgia Critic and AVGN si naturally this was up my alley. The format of his reviews vary from video to video so it's a gamble. Regardless they're still entertaining. His dedication and demeanor in terms of reviewing can't be ignored. He delivers it in a professional yet still comprehendible and even hilarious way that I'm sure you'll like.
If you like reviews and critics then I'm sure you like this one too. Drop on in and see for yourself.

I always found it interesting what people's points of views they had with a show or movie that I've seen. And seeing Chris Stuckman's ideas on a
movie or show with people such as yms or ihe definitely helps with how something is viewed
among critics.

Chris is an amazing critic. His takes on films are always well thought out, and with respect to film as an art form. Do I always agree with his reviews? No. But that's great because I get to hear varying perspectives.hel.

No negative reviews anymore? I actually really miss his normal reviews. Now its a diffrent show. Why don't you rate the movies anymore? I felt I always get a better perspective on how you rate movies as to my comparison on it. I hear you talking about a movie now and I hear you when you like it or not but Most of the time I won't even give a movie a second thought when you give a movie a low rating. Wish you brought back the rating class again. Really going to miss the grading system. The ending to your videos without it seem awkward almost. "In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, and yet enjoy a position over those who offer up themselves and their work to our judgement. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than the criticism designating it so. However, there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends." How can you analyze and assess film with the refusal to speak negative about it if warranted?

I dont always agree with him but i do love how he is so factbased when he makes his reviews ,,if he says he thinks a scene is particularly bad he points out why he thinks the camerawork or the acting is bad, or how a whole movie is awful because the characteres are just unrelatable,or they dont in any way develop . He is a bit stiff sometimes ,i like those where he is just mad or clearly thinks something is really funny. And i have to say it is a big plus he doesnt rant about actors personal life or whatever romours are told about them. I have come across other channels where it is takes almost as much time as the actual movie and it is tiring, I do think its completly fair to say i dont want to support a movie with that person but then dont watch it and dont review it for f... sake! Keep your eye on what you are doing or make a video about it if you think something is so bad you need to get it off your chest but dont ramble on about what some actor did outside of the movie and the making of it.chris does talk about what moviework actors or others in a movie has been involved in or mentions serious problems with the production, and thats fine, its relevant sometimes, but is doesnt go beyond that,it is always the movie and why.

C. S. is just another YouTuber, among a quagmire of other "influencer" posers, claiming to be a film critic. He will both criticise and praise the same things, totally oblivious that he is critiquing the same points. He is incapable of making convincing, elaborate, and original arguments; he is clueless to homages and the art itself.
Not only is he a pretend film critic, he's a wannabe scriptwriter and director, too, who is frustrated as to why he is unable to create the next Star Wars.
He claims that he is a Star Wars fan, but resents Lucas's successes due to his own limitations. Watch his biased reviews and you will realise that he has nothing to offer other than repeating the same biased and false talking points of other YouTuber influencers in order to gain the same subscribers and likes within that certain bubble of geek fandom.

This guy is very simple and boring. He doesn't have a sharp mind either. The reviews he does are SO superficial! You can tell he chooses quantity over quality.
With one particular movie he reviewed "The Craft", he went on about how he didn't understand something, and therefore, it was a "bad storyline". One of the witches got played by a guy, so she cast a spell on him to get power back over him. And he's like "why would she cast a spell on him, that's like a bad storyline?" WTF, HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT? A scorned woman wants her power back, but he didn't seem to understand even that simple concept.
I feel like he watches films half assed, and then doesn't understand something, and just assumes it is because the movie did something "wrong". It's honestly pathetic, and he's done this more than once.
He's obviously good at something, because he got so big, maybe marketing, or just the fact he pumps out reviews like crazy. Or sheer dumb luck, or the fact that he is so vanilla he rarely offends anyone. He may have talents, but film reviewing isn't one of them.
There are much better critics out there. Find someone that doesn't just pump out stuff for the mainstream masses. I'm pretty sure most of his audience are 12 year olds who don't know better.

A bad, annoying, cringy and completely biased film critic.

Something is just off somehow. He smells like a sellout. I don't know if that's true but his reviews seem to be insipid at best. He looks like my yucky ex boyfriend which is a turn off for me.

Okay so I'm not particularly a fan here obviously, but I'd just like to make it clear that I'm not dissing him as a person, I don't know him, but as reviewer all bets are off and I strongly feel that this guy is a hack, as there's nothing remotely exceptional or entertaining about his reviews or the way he tells them, all he does in every single one is speak in a flat monotone as he describes a movie's plot while offering one or two vague observations and opinions until he mercifully wraps the thing up with a crowd-pleasing "..and get Stuckmannized!" I'm just stating a fact here, there's really nothing to his show but a long series of flat duds that give virtually nothing, and his style really hasn't changed or altered significantly in seven years of doing this! His success and popularity as a reviewer are very much undeserved in my opinion, and I cannot believe that some actually consider him to be some kind of great legit film critic and talk about him like he's one of the best, when he isn't even on the cusp of being one of the best, I've seen real amateurs who were more informative and fun to watch. The only reason he even has a million subscribers is because he puts out about three episodes a week and you can't really help but bump into one of his bleh little reviews if you're looking up reviews on a specific movie. I find him contemptible and I haven't learned a solitary thing in watching many of his tiny non-threatening and easy-listening vanilla sandwich reviews- a vanilla sandwich being something that's neither too offensively horrible but definitely not quite good either but something that nestles comfortably in a unsatisfying grey zone that never goes anywhere.. He's always raving about what a great passion for cinema he has and I'm sure he does, but the fact is that passion certainly doesn't translate to his dull as dishwater show. I'd like to hopefully enlighten some people to how fun and interesting a movie reviewer can actually be by naming ten movie reviewers or shows with movie reviewers, who are all very much superior in the medium of film reviewing than Chris Stuckmann is. 1: James Rolfe, aka The Angry Video Game Nerd. 2: The former Nostalgia Chick, Lindsey Ellis. 3: I Hate Everything's Alex Beltman. 4: The Cinema Snob. 5: All the guys from Half in the Bag. 6: Good Bad Flicks. 7: Decker Shado. 8: Otoobach. 9: Mike of OCP Communications. 10: Ghostbait1. As a reviewer, Stuckmann is an underwhelming stiff and a bore, one who is vastly overrated, unrewarding, and just very mediocre and painfully average! I'm definitely not a fan, I think he's insincere and quietly smug and a liar, there are countless more talented and interested reviewers out there, but you know what to each his own, all the negativity in the world won't change anyone's mind so whatever :P
