- GoofsThe necklace wasn't a Zip drive ( which was the size of a small paperback) but a thumb drive. Zip drives looked like floppy disk and were 3.5" wide. So that was much bigger than a regular flash drive.

Alex McPherson: [Alex and Eileen are on the phone discussing the guilt or innocence of one of the campers.] I just don't think Jack did it.
Eileen Bruce: Really? Why?
Alex McPherson: It's just the boots... it just feels wrong.
Eileen Bruce: [laughs.] Boota are always wrong! Boots are nothing more than sensible shoes in disguise.

My favorite mystery series on Hallmark remain Hannah Swenson's Mysteries, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, and Mystery 101. I do really like both Benjamin Ayers and Alison Sweeney, but I feel like this is a show that I would like to like more than I actually do.
General plot, brand new employee of the paper goes on an empowerment retreat and doesn't come back when he said he would. Alex finds this suspicious and does a little digging to discover that the retreat leader has a shady past...then both Alex and Drew end up going on the retreat. Coincidentally, a murder occurs and Drew and Alex work to get to the bottom of it.
So far the Chronicle Mysteries are staying around the same in terms of interest...in comparison to Mystery 101 which seems to be getting better with every entry.
I think I preferred the previous entry, The Deep End.
