Severi Suhonen is back! This time in color! Severi and his accordion play for the last time in Meiltähän tämä käy (1973) in Matti Kassila's direction. And it'a also the last movie in the Rillumarei genre.Severi is a lumberjack who has to go working in a factory. There he finds his old lady acquaintance and also his daughter he didn't know about.Esa Pakarinen does his last film role in this one and he does it with his own unique style.Kauko Helovirta is terrific as Wille Wållberg.Kirsti Ortola is wonderful as Anna Tuhkanen.Marjo Wallenius plays her daughter Leena in her only film role. Her love interest, Wille Wållberg Jr. is played by Hannu Lauri.Jussi Jurkka is quite funny as Nestori of Ruutanasuo.Olavi Ahonen is hilarious as Törrönen.Pentti Siimes is laugh out loud funny as Kurt von Brunkenfeldt. As is Leo Lastumäki playing Janitor.Martti Pennanen plays Ministeri Vänttinen.Kosti Klemelä plays Ministeri Vepsäläinen.Pekka Autiovuori is Kille Kiekkonen.Aarno Sulkanen portrays Antikainen. His late wife Marjatta Raita portrays Anita.Aarne Laine is Paavo Tarkka.Maija-Liisa Peuhu and Anja Räsänen play Severi's conquests.Vexi Salmi is seen as Man at Street Corner. The movie is quite hilarious.Like Pentti Siimes doing his drunken act.And Esa fighting with Helovirta.Or Nestori with his moonshine business. Not to forget the big man Lastumäki chasing Esa.Then there are those songs that also work. The fans of Rillumarei genre will enjoy this.
