Martina Sammarco

Martina Sammarco was born in Asmara (Eritrea) on April 28th 1989 and grew up in Veneto.
She graduated with honors inPerforming Arts at La Sapienza University in Rome and she later graduated at the Luca Ronconi School of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan.
She starred in the movie "State a Casa" directed by Roan Johnson and was in the cast of "The Two Popes" by Fernando Meirelles.
In television, she is one of the main characters in "Monterossi - The TV Series", also directed by R. Johnson. She also took part in "DOC- nelle tue mani" by Ciro Visco, "L'ispettore Coliandro 7" by the Manetti Bros., "Nero a metà" and "Lampedusa" by Marco Pontecorvo.
In theatre she has worked with many renowned directors includingRifici, Masala, Chiodi, Romano and Martini. She has also acted in "Moby Dick" a short film by Nicola Sorcinelli, which won the Nastro d'Argento award for best short film 2017.
