Jae Benjamin is an Actor, Producer, Writer and Comedian born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is known for: Hosting and Co-Executive Producing "FanRoom LIVE" (2020-2024) alongside Cedric The Entertainer, "The Legend of Jack and Diane" (2023) as, 'MONTY MOSKOWITZ' alongside the late great Tom Sizemore, "Into The Veil - S1 EP.3 - Mr. Crunklenuts" (2022) as 'Charlie's Dad', "Tracing Force" (2022) as 'Meganus', "Don't Look Up" (2021), "John Wick - Chapter 2" (2017), Associate Produced "Alienated" (2015) starring the late great Taylor Negron, was a featured actor in, "Affluenza" (2014), "Now You See Me" (2013) as an 'FBI Agent' and "Born On Another Planet" (2010-2015) as himself, which sold out on Broadway for many years. Mr. Benjamin is also a (8x) "TOP 100" as listed by celebrity scribe George Wayne of Vanity Fair Magazine. Jae Benjamin will star in the new movies, "Hunter Red" as 'Sam Rector aka THE RECTOR' (filming 2024), "Ghosts of Time" as 'JAMES', "GIANTS" as 'TJ' and "Raphael".
You may remember Jae from the SpinMaster Toy commercials as the juggling boy who put DEVIL STICKS on the map; The famed juggling sticks which caught the attention & popularity of Grateful Dead and Phish fans tailgating in parking lots around the world in the mid 1990's and prior. When Jae was 22 years old he started working for Caroline's Comedy Club on Broadway in New York City as their doorman/show-barker and by age 23 Benjamin was doing stand-up comedy at Carolines, most clubs throughout New York City and the tristate area. While working at Carolines on Broadway, Benjamin helped create and produce the shows BLUE COLLAR COMEDY and INSIGHTFUL RIOT while continually booking roles in television commercials, on stages and in feature films.
Benjamin has an MFA from the University of Connecticut and was trained in both method and film acting, focusing on: Shakespeare, Ibsen, Chekhov, Meisner. Mr. Benjamin also attended The Actors Studio, TVI Institute and has been learning the crafts and business of acting, producing, film/television from top industry professionals hands-on, while schooling and working as a young actor through to current days. Mr. Benjamin comes from a successful Hollywood family some of which are renown household names, Oscar and Emmy winners, as well as, considered to be industry elite.
