Born in Brisbane, Australia .
Damien was fortunate to obtain a trainee ship at the Seven Network at an early age. Learning from some very talented mentors, Damien went on to work across multiple genre's as an operator. From traveling the world shooting the World Rally Car racing series for multiple years to filming with BBC factual entertainment diversion working on ob doc's around the globe.
All this work over 20 years has led to the opportunities to work in the Film and Drama space with the opportunity to work with many talented DP's, operators and crew. Damien was also excepted in the Society of Camera Operators in 2021 and looks forward to a long relationship with the Society.
Recently he has worked as 'A' Camera on Eden a 10 part Stan drama Series, The Wild's Season 2 Amazon Prime (C/A Cam) and Irreverent (Netflix).
