Reggie Brown is an Emmy Award winning comedian, actor, keynote speaker and impressionist best known for his uncanny impersonation of the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama.
He has made over 500,000,000 impressions on line due to his viral videos and campaigns where millions of people around the world are led to believe that he's actually President Obama.
Raised by a single mother on the south side of Chicago along with his 4 siblings, he started his first business at the age of 11 selling cans of soda to golfers at the local golf course. By 14 he entered the restaurant business, getting his first job as a busboy at the Seven Bridges Golf Course in Woodridge, IL.
Over the years, Reggie has modeled for Elite Models and Ford Models and took acting and voice-over classes to break into the entertainment industry. He was the host of AKIRA TV - a behind-the-scenes fashion TV show for AKIRA, one of Chicago's most popular fashion boutique chains - as well as the emcee for their large-scale fashion events. Reggie went on to win an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Alternate Media/ New Media Interactivity during his time as an online correspondent for NBC 5 Chicago Street Team.
As Barack Obama began campaigning in 2007, remarks from family, friends and total strangers revealed Reggie's uncanny and unique resemblance to the senator and future President of the United States of America. In September 2009, Reggie left for L.A. with the dream of becoming the world's greatest Obama impersonator - a tribute to his deep respect for Barack Obama.
In the years that followed, Reggie has traveled to and performed his act in over 24 countries. He has been featured on every major media and news outlet and has produced videos which have hit over 500,000,000 views.
His keynote "How I Became the President of the United States"- which he launched at the famous La Butte Aux Bois in Belgium in January 2016 - is simultaneously humorous and uplifting. It is a tale of triumph and tragedy that focuses on his life story; the odds he has overcome to fulfill his dreams and the remarkable parallels between his life and Barack Obama's.
Today Reggie travels the world, as a comedian and sought-after keynote speaker. He has appeared on the front page of newspapers in 9 countries and cities across the world. His clean corporate performances, live comedy shows and keynote speeches have seen him placed as one of the most popular choices for events and corporations the world over. From comedy, to sentiment, to inspiration - Reggie Brown delivers on every front.
