Catherine Gell is an actress and singer/songwriter originally hailing from the U.K. Upon moving to Canada, she studied Ballet as a scholarship student, then later combined her studies of dance with drama and music at University. An accomplished triple threat, composer and choreographer, she has performed in numerous Stage & Theatre productions, Musicals, Operas and Ballets, in addition to her Film and Television appearances.
2016 was a busy year for Catherine with performances as Moira in the sci-fi hit 'Wynonna Earp', Guest Starring in C.B.C's long running family drama 'Heartland' and appearing in the acclaimed comedy-drama 'Burn Your Maps' as Dr. Wagner, alongside Vera Farmiga and Jacob Tremblay, directed by Jordan Roberts. The film premiered at Toronto's International Film Festival.
She is also a familiar voice to Anime, Cartoon and Video Game fans alike, with numerous appearances in 'Bibi & Tina', 'Buddyfight', 'Metalions', 'Order & Chaos' and 'Benjamin the Elephant'.
2019 saw her in supporting roles in the gripping Horror film 'True Fiction', and Canadian Television drama 'Tribal'. 2021 she revisited the Horror genre once more in the motion picture 'Don't Say it's Name' before making a return to Theatre.
She currently resides in Canada.
