Amanda Luttrell Garrigus

Amanda Luttrell Garrigus was born in Tanzania's eclectic, vibrant
capital city of Dar es Salaam to a Louisiana-born father and a native
Tanzanian mother. Her family moved from the tropics to Toronto, Canada
when she was three-years-old. Amanda graduated from the University of
Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree, followed by
post-graduate studies in Magazine Journalism at the highly-regarded
Ryerson University. She began her impressive career in fashion
journalism as an editorial intern at "Flare" and, then, as Associate
Fashion Editor at "Fashion Magazine". Throughout the course of her
career, Amanda has worked for some of the world's most respected
fashion magazines, including "Allure", "Vogue" and "Glamour", and as a
stylist for A-List celebrity clients, including
Mariah Carey. For several years, she helmed
"Angeleno", Los Angeles' most important fashion/lifestyle magazine as
its youngest and, most visible, Editor-in-Chief. Amanda is a
well-respected fixture in the L.A. fashion scene and a much-loved
on-air personality.
