Born in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines as Paolo Elito Macapagal Ballesteros IV, he is a Filipino actor, comedian, and drag queen. He grew up in a family with a strong connection to art, with painter Fernando Amorsolo being his great-grandfather and actress Eula Valdez being his aunt. Since 2004 he's been the host of the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga (1979) and since 2022 he's been the host of Drag Race Philippines (2022). As an actor, he gained recognition for playing a transgender beauty queen Trisha in Die Beautiful (2016), a role which gained him a nomination as best actor at the 29th Annual Tokyo International Film Festival. Outside of TV and movie appearances, he is known for his makeup transformations, during which he impersonates female celebrities. He has one daughter, Keira Claire.
