Paul attended Louisiana State University where he was a Theatre Arts
Major. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
The character "Zed" Paul played in "Californication" was created as a tribute to rock star Zack Wylde. Tom Kapinos met the rocker at a Hollywood party and decided to create a character in his likeness for the show.
