Ahmed Mokdad is a Syrian-Canadian actor from Damascus who grew up in Edmonton, AB throughout his adolescence. He was first introduced to the arts through IB Drama Studies in high-school, and has been training for theatre and screen performance disciplines for just under a decade. After attending Toronto's Yorkville University, he earned a degree in Creative Arts Management and branched into administrative producing. Ahmed now divides his time between Toronto and Edmonton, collaborating with notable figures like Dora-winning Daryl Cloran and Governor General Award Finalist Makram Ayache. He continues to perform in television, having shared the screen with Oscar-nominated Coleman Domingo and SAG Award-winning Aldis Hodge. Simultaneously, Ahmed produces and coordinates for productions in Toronto, and is developing a slate of projects with local Canadian writers for theatrical and screen plays under his production banner, 'Mokdad Creates'.
