The company focused on creating work that explores the possibilities and limitations of musical theater. Their productions include: In-Between, Private Parts, No Jazz Hands Allowed, and Classic? A Song Cycle.
Richard is a self-professed jack-of-all-trades and is interested in every aspect of a creative process. This led him to enter the film and television industry. You can catch him as Stevie in The Banana Splits Movie (2019) and Guy in Slumber Party Massacre (2019), now streaming on Hulu.
Out of the spotlight, he has worked as a lighting designer, stage manager, director, and dramatic. Eager to travel again, Richard worked as vocal captain and a production vocalist for Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Whilst working on cruise ships, Richard created and performed two solo shows: Cape Town Crooner and Michael Bublé Fan Club.
In his free time, Richard enjoys exploring new destinations on foot. His Google maps is crowded with saved "things to do" and he wishes to do a lot of things. He also enjoys being in nature, journaling, exercising, meditating, having one-on-one coffee dates with friends, and, most recently, raving.
