Jason Isaacs, Jimmi Simpson and Russell Peters have joined the voice cast of “Pierre the Pigeon-Hawk,” the upcoming animated feature from Exodus Film Group, Toonz Media Group and JAKM3N Productions.

Isaacs is known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” franchise. Simpson’s recent credits include “Pachinko” and “Dark Matter,” while Peters is a standup comedian and actor.

Grammy winner Will.i.am voices the titular Pierre in the musically-driven film, with rap legend Snoop Dogg, Egot recipient Whoopi Goldberg and “The White Lotus” star Jennifer Coolidge among the ensemble. The cast also includes Jennifer Hudson, Luis Guzmán, Kenan Thompson, Howie Mandel, Domenick Lombardozzi, Evan Ross, Ashlee Simpson, Paul Blackthorne, Matthew Del Negro, Jamal Trulove and Alison Jaye.

As we move closer to the end of 2024, now is the perfect time to look back at some of the worst shows of the year. Beginning as a drama on Channel 4 in 2010 before moving to Netflix from series 3 in 2016, so far six series worth of twisted tales have come from the unrelentingly dark imagination of Charlie Brooker. From AI to memory chips, futuristic societies to an interactive special, Brooker’s pen has thus far always been prescient, predicting many developments in technology that have actually come true.

A seventh season of the anthology series Black Mirror will be making its way to the Netflix streaming service sometime in 2025 – and while episodes of the show have branched out into different genres as it has gone along, during an interview with Deadline, series creator Charlie Brooker said that the episodes of Black Mirror season 7 will be like the “Og Black Mirror.”

And, let me be clear. I am a fan of Apple TV+. I appreciate how many TV shows with huge stars the streamer is cranking out these days, but it’s just so odd that almost no one is talking about these great shows!

“Pachinko” chronicles four generations of a Korean family who moved to Japan before the start of World War II. According to an official synopsis for Season 2, “the parallel stories pick up in Osaka in 1945, where Sunja is forced to make dangerous decisions for her family’s survival during World War II, and in Tokyo in 1989, which finds Solomon exploring new, humble beginnings.”
