Whitney Anderson is an American actress who has played a variety of roles in numerous TV shows, films & plays. The multiple film festival award-winning actress just shot the upcoming thriller Holland, Michigan opposite Nicole Kidman & will also be seen in the upcoming films LA Rush opposite Elijah Wood, A Circus & A Love Song with Diane Kruger & Eva Longoria, Daruma, 115 Grains & Angel Baby. On the small screen, you may have seen her on shows such as NCIS:LA, Masters of Sex, Dexter, Rizzoli & Isles, Bones and The Code to name a few. Or in various TV movies such as Anywhere With You that premiered at Cannes Film Festival before playing on Showtime Networks. Whitney graduated summa cum laude from USC in Theatre & Broadcast Journalism. She has written, produced & directed several shorts, including comedies for the popular site, Funnyordie & the recent Deal Breaker, which has had several wins to date including 'Best Comedy Short Film' as it makes its rounds through the festival circuit. Whitney is also an accomplished singer-songwriter and has performed at various venues. Her single Nothing will be featured in her upcoming film Angel Baby under her publishing company Born Under A Lucky Star. Whitney also enjoys participating in improv shows & dancing.
Whitney is co-founder of Dynamo Studio, a female-driven production company committed to creating TV, film & theatre to catalyze conversation around social issues. Dynamo Studio was founded on the belief in the power of story to heal, to connect & to drive positive social change, while supporting advocacy groups in our community.
Growing up, Whitney's mother took her to plays & musicals on a regular basis, instilling an incredible love of the performing arts that lasts to this day. Whitney's mission is to uplift, educate & inspire others through storytelling to become the best versions of themselves & find the fun in doing so.
