The Kentish Horse, Markbeech
It is good to see this small village retaining a proper pub when so many similar establishments have disappeared. Originally a terrace of cottages, it later became a basic ale house and was extended in 1993 to include a full commercial kitchen. There is a sizeable beer garden to the rear.
