Lamlash Bay
Lamlash Bay
Lamlash (Scottish Gaelic: An t-Eilean Ārd) is the largest village on the Isle of Arran. It is situated in a sheltered bay on the island's east coast, 3 miles to the south of ferry port Brodick.
Orbital Route around the Isle of Arran

The orbital route around the Isle of Arran circumnavigates the island on its 55-mile course around the coast, connecting all the major settlements on the island - Brodick, Lochranza, Blackwaterfoot and Whiting Bay.

The route was previously classified as the A841. However, in 2009 the western and southern sides of the route between Dippen, just south of Whiting Bay and Lochranza via Blackwaterfoot was downgraded. The eastern section of the route, between Whiting Bay and Lochranza via Brodick remains as the A841, the only A-road on the Island.
