View SE of the Down side by the car park: ex-Caledonian Railway Glasgow/Edinburgh (via Larbert) - Perth etc. main line; also formerly* ex-NBR from Edinburgh via Alloa and Dunfermline and from Balloch. *The line to Balloch was closed 1/10/34, that to Dunfermline from 7/10/68, but Stirling - Alloa was restored 5/5/08 when a new station was built at Alloa.
