A heron, on the muddy bank of the lowered River Lagan (see J3470 : The Stranmillis weir (open), Belfast (February 2015)), below Belvoir Forest. Moreland's Meadow, Belfast :: J3369

An area of some 18 acres inside a meander of the River Lagan. It became an island when the canal was built on the western side. It includes an area of woodland. Accessible from the Lagan towpath.
