A photo record of the construction of a new leisure facility - Airkix. A coup for the town given that at present there are only two others in the UK - Milton Keynes & Manchester.
Looks like a great innovation, it may well be far cheaper than going up in an aeroplane but I wonder how many local folk will baulk at the starting price of £30! Fun does not come cheap these days.

The first-time flyger deal is infact cheaper than the opening price was in in 2013 (£30) now 2 flights for £49.99.
