Winter morning, River Lagan, Belfast

February has been wet, dull and generally miserable. Today was bright and mild. This morning view (before 9am) shows the Lagan looking upstream from the Albert Bridge. The white building is the Ashby Link the footbridge is this one J3473 : Footbridge, Lagan walkway, Belfast and the chimney is the preserved one at the former gasworks. The scene makes an interesting comparison with three years ago J3473 : The frozen River Lagan, Belfast (3).
