There is a damp spot, prone to flooding J3370 : Bench and floods, Lagan towpath, Belfast, between the towpath and the Lagan Meadows. There were about a dozen mallard there today (more than on the river).

Mallard ducks are common along the River Lagan between Stranmillis and Sprucefield and, although used to people, are not tame. This is a collection of photographs showing some of the birds at various places along the towpath.
