Milnholm Cross
This 8 feet high monument is the oldest relic of the infamous Armstrong Clan. It dates from around 1300 and legend has it that it commemorates an Armstrong laird who was killed at nearby Hermitage Castle by being boiled in a pot!
In the background across the B6357 road can be seen the 866 feet high hill Blinkbonny Height.
