The River Stour is 64 miles long and enters the sea at Christchurch. The last two miles are tidal.

Wishart Gardens is a small exclusive modern development on the northern edge of Bournemouth. It is just off Muscliffe Lane and backs onto land adjacent to the River Stour.

A pleasant view downstream along the River Stour at Redhill, so close to suburbia and yet feeling so far away. Rather oddly, we are stood here in the borough of Christchurch, being in a small section where the borough boundary strays... (more)
