Looking towards Okehampton and Exeter a farm shed building has been built on part of the trackbed. The overbridge has been removed a long while ago and replaced with an embankment to carry the road. The line shut to passengers May 1968.

Now converted to a residence.

There are several houses along here right on the edge of Dartmoor. Moorland starts on the other side of the road.

Crucial to the charm of this attractive little village is the open space at its heart. This view looks across Vicarage Field from Church Lane, to cottages on the lane leading northeast.
